Call 199 : EASTER SUNDAY

Hello Son,

Today is Easter Sunday. :D

The most important and significant day of the year.

Today, we are reminded again ... and again ... and again ... that You are very much alive in Jesus. :D Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for us. Your resurrection has saved us from the fires of h*ll and grant us eternal life with You.

Matthew 28:1-10

After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."

So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."

These are several images that Mom came across when trying to find a picture for this entry.

Celebrate Easter for He is Risen!

Then, your mother came across this image below and literally gasped! Her angel sign ... :D:D:D These He is Risen images are all on the same page on the internet.

What an awesome message for Mom first thing in the morning ... :D

It's 3:10 pm at the moment ...

Mom has to tell You this ...

This morning, after posting this entry, she had left the house to go to Grandma's place at the next block. A man and his two children happened to take the same lift. After the initial morning greetings, the man asked,

"Are You going to church?"

Your mother was quite stunned.

Originally, we were supposed to attend Easter Mass today, but after last night's Easter Vigil's which lasted almost 4 hours, we thought maybe we could uh, skip today's Mass.

In the car on the way home after the mass last night, Justine had in fact commented, "Hey, I thought we're gonna go for all the 4 masses ... Thursday - Sunday." Well, this morning, we got up, and we were uhhh ... kinda not going.

Guiltily, Mom answered the man, "Y- Yes, we're going for the 11 am one..."

Your mother felt so very guilty then. She found herself sending a text to Dad, "v go for the 11:30 am mass. a man in the lift just asked me, r u going to church? dat's my sign la. have to go..."

Dad replied, okay.

That must have been You, huh ... Such a coinciDANS that that man had to take the same lift as her and ask her about church. When was the last time anyone asked her about going to church?

That was You alright ...

Go for Easter Mass, Mommm ... :D

So we did. We're so very glad we did. We have You to thank for. So thank you, Son for the lil prompting. We would not have gone had that man not made your mother feel bad and totally guilty.

After mass that ended 2 hours later, we were in the car. Barely a minute passed when the song FIREWORK came on the radio. :D A smile appeared on your mother's face. You must have seen that. Her eyes shot at the dashboard. It was 12:59.

Do You ever feel like a plastic bag ...

No, not today ... today she doesn't feel like a plastic bag.

It's Easter! Har - loooo ... He is risen and alive today!

Nobody should feel like a plastic bag today ... no, not today.

Definitely not today.

If you only knew what the future holds

Call 151 : Major Fireworks

Your mother had perpetual grin on her face.

We stopped by a nearby Indian restaurant just further up the road, for some lunch. About an hour later, we were back in the car. Justine was driving, when a few moments later, a one line-preview of FIREWORK came on the radio again and filled the car.

Oh my ...

The time was 1:49 pm.

Totally felt your presence, Daniel ... :D

At that moment, Mom somehow recalled Father rightly ending his homily message today with this power-line,

"The resurrection is our destiny."

The resurrection is surely our destiny ...

We are thinking about You, Daniel, safe with JESUS CHRIST, as we celebrate Easter today. <3
