Call 403 : HUGE ANTS

Hello Son,                                          (continue from Call 402)

SUNDAY, AUGUST 19

Uncle S's Canadian friend was at the resort too. He's building a similar hideaway further up the waterfall from Uncle S's place. Dad asked him to show us the place, and that's why Justine and Mom are on the jungle track as per photo above. It was about 20 minutes walk away.

Time was around 11:30 am.

Justine pointing to a trail of ants that was across our path.

Dad zoomed in on those ants.

Oh my ... those were really HUGE ants.

(Remember this ant inciDAN ...

it would soon zap us on your 21st at your garden on Tuesday, Aug 21)

This is the Mat Salleh's land. He said, he's just cleared the trees.

He's on the extreme right of the photo.

Can You see him?

We didn't stay long ...

 Back at Uncle S's place ... :D

Here's DANIEL'S PARADISE before we cleared it.

The pond was filled with water - plants, whatever You call it. :D

Pretty sight, huh?

Here we are, with Maid R, about to clear up the pond.

Justine and Dad relaxing on a deck bed, overlooking the resort.

Your pond is all muddy and looked really terrible right after we pulled out those aqua-plants.

Dad said to wait awhile and let the mud settle.

Mom took this photo.

This is what we were looking at from the deck bed.

We definitely see and feel the rays of the Son, Daniel ... :D

Call 402 : SCORPION FLASH

Hello Son,                                                    (continue from Call 401)

SUNDAY, AUGUST 19

Mom got up early the next morning.

Dad and Justine were still asleep.

Outside the room, she was quickly greeted by the refreshing air and cool breeze.

Inhale deeply, would You please ...

Hmmmm ...

And breathe out ...

Ooh, how absolutely wonderful ...

Just allow all those negative ions to do their work ...

Repair work ...

Yeah, to all those cells in her body that needed to be repaired, negative ions, she summoned mentally --

Go --- Do --- Your --- Job!

Mom remembers how You'd go home with rosy cheeks each time You spent your holidays at the waterfall and Dad would say, "It's the negative ions ..."

Nostalgia ...

Mom sat herself down on an easy sofa.

Uncle S's family were also at the resort.

Their teenage son walked over to where Mom was sitting, with his laptop and sank down on another sofa, close to her.

We briefly exchanged a "Hi ..." and a "Good morning ..." :D

Yeah, that was all we said to each other.

He went back to his game on the laptop, and Mom went back to staring at the two plastic chairs in front of her (about 8 walking steps away).

Something would soon happen.

Omg ...

Picture this ...

Mom's on the left. Justine hugging her knees. The boy was sitting on the right.

Picture was taken after the inciDAN happened.

There Mom was, sitting on the sofa. She was looking straight across to two plastic chairs that were placed in front of the dining area. The chairs looked like they needed a good scrub, she'd thought ... and for the next few minutes, her eyes were fixed on the chairs as she wondered if those dark stains were permanent molds that could not be removed or just dirt that could be washed off.

Suddenly, her gaze was diverted to a creepy crawlie that was slowly making its way across your mother's path. It was about 5 walking steps away from her.

Yeah, it was that near.

Her focus immediately shifted to that ... creepy crawlie thingy ... that continued to crawl.

Instinctively, she leaned forward.

It was seconds before she found herself leaping out of her seat, like the sofa had burned her, and yelling at the top of her voice (Yeah yeah, it was all very dramatic!),

"OMG ... A SCORPION!!! A SCORPION!!! OMG ... A SCORPION!!!"

The teenage boy heard her (obviously), and quickly ran to one of the rooms calling for his father.

Mom dashed into the bedroom and yelled for Dad to get up.

"Wake up! Wake up! There's a scorpion outside! There's a scorpion outside!"

Maid R heard her cries, and rushed to the scene.

Mom was all hyper as she warned the maid, "Don't go too near ... the tail ... it's poisonous ... be careful ... be careful ... I SAY DON'T GO TOO NEAR!!"

Maid R reached down to pick up a heavy rock. Aiming at the scorpion, which was still slowly crawling without a care in the world, and definitely with no idea whatsoever of what's to befall it, the maid threw the rock at it.

Mom almost applauded when the rock landed directly on top of the scorpion.

She didn't have to check ... she knew the scorpion would have been squashed ... like a pancake.

Dad came out just then.

The boy's father appeared at the same time.

Ahh, you men ... too late ... go back to sleep ...

The boy's father picked up the scorpion with a stick and threw it into the garbage bin.

Justine asked later, "Did you take a photo of the scorpion?"

Oh, darn it. She did not. And had not. :(

After the inciDAN, everyone went back to what they were doing.

Mom was left alone at the sofa.

Pause ...

That was strange ... somehow ... that inciDAN ...

Mom was meant to see it.

She was staring right at that direction moments before the scorpion came into her sight.

Time stood still ... as a tingling feeling of realization slowly seeped into her veins.

She found herself sending her son a telepathic message, confronting him straight to the point,

Daniel Phua, did You, or did You not, send Mom that scorpion???

Silence ...

You couldn't have sent Mom a scorpion, could You, Daniel?

That was pretty dangerous.

What if Mom had stepped on it?

What if that thing had stung Mom?

What if ...

It was during that moment of confrontation that she suddenly received a zap enlightening.

It came to her like a flash.

Omg ...

Omg ...

Omg ...

Mom stood up abruptly, thought hard for a few seconds, before running into the room.

Dad had gone back to sleep.

Shaking your father's hand impatiently, and waking him up, she said rather breathlessly, "Omg ... the scorpion ... Daniel had a scorpion underwear ... Omg ... He wants us to know he's with us ... "

Dad gave your mother a slow chuckle.

Mom reminded unnecessarily ... unnecessarily, because Dad did not need the reminder.

"Don't you remember? I bought him a box of those colourful underwears ... and one of them had a scorpion print on it ..."

Dad remembers. Of course he remembers. He remembers You lamenting about those prints. In your mother's defence, she had explained with a laugh that looking from the box before she bought the underwears, there was no way she could have known that there were silly prints on them.

Hahaha ...

Oh Wow Daniel ...

Oh Gee Wow ...

A scorpion, huh??

Oh gosh ...

You must have whispered to Mom to sit where she did, and to look at a specific angle where she was bound to see the scorpion crawling by.

You were definitely with us at the waterfall, Son ...

Of course You would be.

How could You not be?

Uncle S had dedicated a special part of the place, namely the pond, in memory of You.

He calls it DANIEL'S PARADISE.

Here it is ... DANIEL'S PARADISE ... :D

Hey, Justine discovered some prawns in the pond.

How 'bout that? :D

Call 401 : WATERFALL RESORT

Hello Son,                                                                                (continue from Call 400)

SATURDAY, AUG 18

We arrived at the resort about 6:30 pm.

Dad had bought 2 packs of baked salted chicken from Ipoh when we stopped by this afternoon.

So, dinner was salted chicken with instant noodles.

How instant noodles can taste so delicious it is difficult to explain. We were so hungry lapping up our food, we forgot to take photos.

Anyway, here are some photos that your sister took that night when we arrived.

 The dining place ...

Over the deck ...

The two plastic chairs towards the right, as referred to in Call 402.

Mom was sitting on the sofa (extreme left) when the scorpion inciDAN happened.

Looking at the dining area from the brick home ...

Yeah, there're the brick home and the wooden home ...

But no, no straw home ...

Chuckle ...

How absolutely peaceful and serene ... except for the noises of those night insects and crickets ...

There's Justine ... about to do some stretching exercises ... after a heavy dinner. :D

Call 400 : BIG HUG

Hello Son,                                                                                       (continue from Call 399)

SATURDAY, AUG 18

The Raya holidays are here. :D

Yayyy!!!

We were traveling up north that Saturday to spend some quiet time at Uncle S's waterfall resort for a few days.

Yeah Son ... the waterfall resort ...  place where Justine and You used to spend your holidays at. Also, the place where You went to to recover from your surgeries. Not to forget too that, that's the place where Dad bundled You to when your sister was having her important exams, so your sister could study without You disturbing her.

Sigh Daniel ...

Sigh Sigh Sigh ...

What Mom would give to have You disturb your sister again. :D

Grimace.

We miss You so very much, Daniel ... You know that, don't You? Is it possible for your family to miss You even more than before? Truly, not a split of a second could pass without Mom thinking about You. You're always on our minds, Daniel ...

Yeah Son, You're just - everywhere ...

Truly, everywhere ...

Everywhere we are, there You'll be ...

Oh gawd ...

So anyway ...

We were not all that aware that it was gonna take us a whole day to drive up north that Saturday. Sure it was the festive season, as well as the school holidays. We naively thought that most people would have balik kampung on Friday since Raya was on Sunday.

Boy, were we wrong.

It took us almost 8 hours to get to the resort, when it should have taken about 4.5 hours only.

Of course, there was a extra 2 hours delay as we stopped by in Ipoh for the irresistible hor fun.

Good thing we drove the Exora. With the DVD player, we did not feel the long journey all that much.

We, as in Justine, the maid and Mom. Dad was driving.

Mom had asked Justine to bring along our FRIENDS DVD.

Justine brought the whole set of Season 5.

Throughout the long drive, FRIENDS was on.

Even watching FRIENDS, Mom felt your presence. :D

How, You ask?

Why, there was the DAN, and the DANNY characters ...

Smirk.

Can You blame her?

Then, at one point, Rachel mentioned RIHANNA.

Mom sat upright.

W-what???

RIHANNA???

Omg ...

What are the chances?

Immediately, Mom turned to your sister, "Rihanna sang Chest To Chest right?"

Justine replied lazily, "Yeah ... Why?"

Your mother needed no further invitation.

"Yesterday ... Chest to Chest ... came on when I was getting some sweets for the kids ... and then later in the evening, it was on again when Dad and I walked past the juice stall at the mall ... etc "

You must have whispered to your sister which Season (DVD) to bring for the journey. We have all the 10 seasons and she had to pick the one that would alert your mother's senses, first with the DAN and then the DANNY, before zapping her sharply with RIHANNA.

Omg ...

How do You do it?

Honestly Daniel, that was amazing. The timing was just too perfect. Had Dad and Mom walked by that juice shop just a minute earlier (yesterday), the song would not have been on. Also, the day care teacher had reminded Mom about the lollipops. Teacher A had said, "Don't forget to get the lollipops. The children will be asking for them later ... Had Teacher A not urge her to get the sweets, Mom could have conveniently forgotten about them. She was not in the habit of buying candies and sweets during school hours. Especially not at that sundry shop opposite. That was her first time going to that shop. You have to cross the road ... it's not convenient to go there at all.

Gosh ...

Two Chest To Chest inciDANS the day before ... to stir up all the memories of our chest to chest moments ... then the next day, she had to hear the names DAN and then again, DANNY ... before the zap RIHANNA.

She was so meant to hear them.

At the point of writing, Mom gets a sudden enlightenment.

A deeper interpretation of the RIHANNA zap.

It's not just your presence that Mom is getting.

You're giving her a hug too.

Omg ...

Yeah, that must be the message behind the zap.

Aiyoh Ma, finally ... :D

You must have whispered into your mother's ear.

Chest to chest, Ma ... :D

Aww Son ... that was definitely a BIG HUG your mother received all the way from heaven.

Call 399 : NO LOLLIPOPS

Hello Son,                                                                                (continue from Call 398)

FRIDAY, AUGUST 17

It was some time in the afternoon on Friday.

Dad and Mom walked over (from school) to the end of the shop-office to have a quick lunch at a newly opened coffee shop.

After a quick bite, we walked across the road to the small sundry shop on the opposite side.

Mom wanted to get a pack of lollipops.

Friday was our last day of school before we break for one week.

We had given out all the lollipops to the half-day children earlier. Mom had to get some more for the full day kids, who are taking a nap at the material time, but will soon be asking for their lollipop when they get up later. :D

At the sundry shop ...

Mom walked in to the shop, took one round, and came back to the front.

No lollipops in sight.

As she was looking for alternatives, she suddenly realized that the song CHEST TO CHEST (CALIFORNIA KING BED) was playing very softly on the radio in the shop.

Mom had to smile as her chest - to - chest memories flooded in. She would ask for a hug. You would put a pillow in front of You before giving your mother a hug, and she would laugh and say, no ... no pillow ... chest to chest ... at times, just to see her son go beetroot, she would say, boobs to boobs ...

Grin.

Remember that, Son?

That boob word would always turn your cheeks red. You were in lower secondary then.

* Remember this image which Mom downloaded on Tuesday 21. There's a zap story behind it.

It was too random to hear that CHEST TO CHEST song in that shop.

Shrugging, she picked up a packet of jelly cups and paid for them at the cashier.

Dad was waiting right outside the shop.

Mom said, "Chest to chest is on the radio ..."

Grin Grin Grin ...

For the rest of the afternoon, the kids kept her busy and her chest to chest inciDAN was forgotten ...

Until, after school ...

It was after all a Friday.

TGIF ...

Dad and Mom decided to have dinner at the mall.

We needed to get some last minute stuffs anyway for our trip the next day (Saturday). We were going up north to spend some time at the waterfall resort during the Raya weekend.

We had our dinner at Tony Romas. Dad was craving for ribs. :D

Anyway, after our nice dinner, we were walking along the shops.

We were approaching a juice stall.

Mom smiled secretly to herself, as she thought of the zap inciDAN that happened at that stall some time ago ... 21 GUNS were playing on the radio when she was waiting for her drink at the time. Dad was with her. Mom's told You all about it in a previous call ...

Remember?

Yeah, 21 GUNS ...

So anyway, as we were passing the stall ... OMG ... You will not believe it but ...

CHEST TO CHEST was on the radio.

Abruptly, she stopped in her tracks.

Quickly, she checked her handphone, before letting out an excited yelp.

"Omg ... It's 9:12 pm ... Chest to Chest ... Omg ... This song was on this afternoon ... when I was buying lollipop ..."

Mom found it necessary to explain further, in case Dad did not get it. :D

"Nine one, that's ten ... and two ... that's one two ... decode two one ... 21 ..."

Omg ...

What are the chances???

Honestly, what are the chances???

No chance ...

Not a chance in the whole wide world ...

That was surely YOU ...

Definite YOU ...

Nobody, nobody but YOU ...

Eres tu ...

Call 398 : 31st MONTH

Hello Son,

Today is your 31st month with Jesus and Mama Mary up there somewhere over the rainbow.

Words will not be sufficient to express how much we miss You, Daniel. There will always be a dull ache in our hearts which would probably never heal ...

No, never ... and that's okay ... because if that's the only way to be close to You, then let the pain remain ...

Lea Salonga sang that song, remember?

Let the pain remain ...

So let the pain remain forever in my heart

For every throb it brings is

One more moment spent with you

I'll let the pain bring on the rain

If that's the only way

If there's no other way to be with You again

A few weeks after You left us, Aunty J mentioned whilst attempting to comfort your mother, that ... you know ... the pain will go away in time ... that time heals every wound etc ... but You know what? Mom remembers telling your aunt very clearly that she never ... ever ... want the pain to go away ... NEVER ... because Mom had added that, she feels closest to You when she feels all the pain ...

Pause ...

It was a weird thing to say she knows ... it was only after she stumbled upon this song LET THE PAIN REMAIN some two years later, that she felt she wasn't so crazy after all.

Anyway, here's the link to your Flower Garden 21 blog.

We went to your garden this morning.

Call 397 : GLEE AUDITION

Hello Son,

Wednesday, August 15

That Wednesday afternoon, Dad, Justine and Mom were in the car.

We were on the way home.

Dad was going outstation at 3pm.

Mom said to drop by one of the bakeries to get some sandwiches for lunch.

Dad initially said no, it was almost 2:30 pm then and he still needed to go home to shower and pack an overnight bag.

Mom insisted. She wanted to get some bread stuff for Dad as well, so he has something to eat on the way whilst driving.

So off we went to one of the bread shops nearby our condo.

Mom went into the bakery and bought some chicken pizza rolls and sandwiches.

She came out shortly after and walked to the car.

Dad and Justine were waiting for her at the end of the block, which was about say, 20 steps away.

She hopped in to the car. Dad pulled away from the curb.

A song on the radio had come to an end.

The song came on. She wasn't really listening to it until the first line hit her and caused her jaw to drop.

Omg ...

Every breath you take

It was ages and ages ago since Mom heard Every Breath

Excitedly, Mom pointed to the time on the dashboard.

"Look! 2:37 pm ... That's 21 ... this song ... I'll be watching you ... Awww ..."

Dad smiled.

Justine nodded knowingly.

We felt your presence, Daniel.

You're certainly watching your family from where You are ... somewhere over the rainbow.

Every move you make

Every bond you break

Every step you take

I'll be watching you

I'll be watching you ...

That line was just so heart-warming to hear.

Her son has spoken.

Oh yes, he has.

She knows.

A mother knows when her child has spoken.

Mom had to smile.

Fast forward to back home later in the evening.

Justine was watching television.

The maid was preparing dinner.

Mom was taking a shower.

After her shower, she plonked herself in front of the telly, sitting opposite your sister, on the carpet.

GLEE was on.

They were auditioning some young talents for the show.

Mom helped herself to a slice of papaya, her eyes on the TV screen.

She saw the casting directors giving a title of a song to the short-haired girl ...

Nothing unusual about that.

Oh, would You just wait for it ...

Omg ...

Nothing would have prepared her for what she was about to hear next.

Omg ...

You've so gotta be kidding your mother.

Her jaw dropped.

You must have seen that.

Guess which song the casting guy mentioned for the next talent to sing.

Guess Guess Guess ...

Omg ...

Would You believe it ?

Daniel ...

Holy mackerel.

Yes, DANIEL ... the song ... the casting guy mentioned this song next.

Oh My Gosh ...

You must have seen your mother pounced on that.

"What??? Omg, did you hear that? What are the chances? One thousand songs he could have said and he said DANIEL? Did you hear that? And I just sat down a minute ago. I just came here to eat the papaya. Omg ..."

Omg ...

Justine was right there.

Good good.

It's always good to have a witness.

It was barely a minute after she sat down before the telly when that zap happened.

Would You look at the perfect timing?

Of course your sister heard everything.

Mom said, "Daniel must have whispered to me ... Go watch TV, Ma ... Now Ma, now ..." :D

How else would You explain the perfect timing?

Mom told Justine about the zap in the afternoon - I'll be watching You ...

Two song inciDANS.

Let's see ...

I'll be watching You ... Daniel.

Awww Son ... What a beautiful message.

Mom couldn't ask for more.

Sniff ...

Yes Daniel ... that was nobody, nobody but You.

Eres tu ...

That was easy ...

We love You so very much, Daniel ... <3

Keep the zaps coming ...

Call 396 : LABOUR ROOM

Hello Son,

TUESDAY, JULY 31

Something amazing happened on Tuesday whilst in the school's mpv.

It was after school.

Mom was gonna send the children home.

Whilst waiting for the older children to come down from their classes, the teacher on duty started packing the younger children in the car, as their classes end 15 minutes earlier.

Mom was at the driver's seat.

Teacher E carried X, a cute little 3 year old boy, and put him in the front passenger seat.

Mom smiled, as she looked at his pink crocs.

Being a foreigner, he doesn't talk all that much ... and when he does speak, he speaks in his own native language. Don't get your mother wrong, he is able to repeat some words in English if you asked him to, but that's about it.

As Mom was watching him, at one point, she saw him staring at the space in front of him (car dashboard) and was still for a few seconds before he lifted his right hand and began to claw in mid air. He did that a few times.

She looked at the boy, and was literally still as she held her breath.

Omg ...

She peered closer, thinking it was a sand fly or a tiny insect that the boy was trying to swat ... but there was nothing there.

Absolutely nothing.

Nilch.

No uh, cobwebs, or dust or rays whatever. The space in front of him was perfectly clear. She had carefully checked at every possible angle, thinking at first it could have been some kind of reflection.

The little boy continued to stare two seconds and claw the next two seconds.

Like he was trying to get at something.

Swiftly, she took her handphone and without a sound, as she did not want to distract him, she tried to take a video clip. Her cell could only take very short clips (5 seconds). The video was for Dad and Justine to see when she related to them later. Mom's not able to upload the video on your blog for security reasons.

You would have seen what the little boy did.

Clawing in the air.

Only You can tell Mom what he was doing ...

The bigger kids soon came down to the car, and for the next few minutes, her focus was not on the boy. When she looked at him next, he was no longer clawing ...

There was one other time when Mom saw this clawing the air motion.

That was at the birth of Baby M, Aunty D and Uncle C's baby, last year.

You were so with us at that time, even Aunty D said so.

That morning, Mom had received an sms from Aunty C, telling her that Aunty D's water broke at 4 am.

That was the 1st sign.

Of all the times that could have been, it had to be a time that was connected to You.

4 am ...

Upon checking, Mom learned that Aunty D was in the room (hospital), timing her contractions ... Mom was told that Aunty D would probably deliver in the evening. Uncle C was on the next flight from Tawau and would arrive at the hospital about 5 or 6 pm.

Mom went to school.

The day passed ... and evening came.

Dad, Mom and Justine went to the hospital.

Arriving at the hospital, we went to the labour ward.

Aunty C was waiting for us. She said that Aunty D was in Labour Room No. 4 and that Uncle C had arrived.

Oh boy, Mom had thought ... Labour room number 4???

Seriously ???

Sign number 2.

Fast Forward ...

Say hello to Baby M.

About half an hour after the baby was brought to the nursery, we all went to see Aunty D in that labour room number 4.

Aunty D told us that "the baby could not come out" ... and that the doctor had tried this and that and the baby still refused to come out. So, "the doctor had in fact ordered for c-sect."

Mom listened carefully and threw in the occasional, "And then? And then? And then what happened?"

Oh My Gosh ...

Nothing would have prepared your mother for what she was about to hear next.

Aunty D said that it was during the complication that IF I DIE YOUNG came on.

Time stood still.

Mom thought she heard wrongly.

H-huh???

What did Aunty D say?

For a moment there, she thought Aunty D said IF I DIE YOUNG.

Did she?

But it can't be.

It can't be.

Aunty D probably said she thought she was going to DIE YOUNG and not that she heard the song IF I DIE YOUNG. Besides, how could the hospital play IF I DIE YOUNG in the labour ward whilst a pregnant patient was trying to give birth?

Mom asked with a laugh, "You thought you were gonna die? It was that bad?"

Aunty D corrected impatiently, "No lah ... The song IF I DIE YOUNG ... the song ..."

In disbelief, Mom asked, "IF I DIE YOUNG? IF I DIE YOUNG came on just now? Daniel's song?"

Aunty D confirmed, "Yes ... his song. He was with me ... During the complication, and the baby couldn't come out, the doctor already wanted to do caesarean ... this song came on ..."

Pause ...

Did You hear that???

Omg ...

Omg ...

Omg ...

"How could the hospital play this song?" Mom asked, still trying to take in the wonder of it all. You really know how to make your presence felt, Daniel.

Aunty D said, "It was on the radio ... The radio was on ..."

Aunty D had 2 previous inciDANS, and both times IF I DIE YOUNG had come one.

That was the 3rd inciDAN. She knew You were with her, Daniel.

Yes, she did.

She really did.

It's so easy ... :D

The 3rd sign.

It was so amazing to hear that.

Mom will never be able to express fully how she felt to hear Aunty D tell her that IF I DIE YOUNG came on right at that crucial moment during the complication ... to comfort Aunty D ... to assure her ... that everything was gonna be okay. Truly Daniel, You really are watching over your family. The baby was delivered naturally a few minutes later ... Yeah, after the song came on, everything kinda fell into the place, and out pop the baby, Aunty D told your family members. Isn't that wonderful?

God is so good to us. Praise the Lord.

That's not all ...

We went to the nursery.

It was on the same floor about 20 steps away from where Aunty D was. We were only allowed to look through the glass window.

There were 4 babies in the small nursery ... Yeah, 4 ... all newly delivered that same day. Two were sleeping peacefully, one was in the incubator ... and as for Baby M ... one hand had escaped from the wrap that was around her, and she appeared to be clawing the air ... the second hand followed suit shortly after.

Yes, You heard right.

Baby M's hands were clawing the air.

Like she was reaching for something.

Like she was playing with someone.

An angel for sure.

It has been said time and time again that babies are able to see angels. Grandma would say when Justine and You were babies ... that when babies smile in their sleep, they are seeing angels. :D

Is this true, Daniel? :D

Anyway, Baby M's eyes were just fixed on a spot in front of her as she continued to reach her hands out and moving them in mid air.

Dad saw that.

Justine saw that.

Uncle C saw that.

Aunty  C saw that.

Grandma saw that.

The nurses had smiled and said casually, "Tak mau tidur ..." (Don't want to sleep)

Mom could almost see You playing with her.

You were playing with her, weren't You, Daniel? :D

It's so obvious.

Back in the room, Mom told Aunty D very excitedly, "Eh, your baby is very active la ... all the other babies are sleeping ... but yours is exercising her hands ... from just now till now, her hands are still clawing through the air ..." (from just now till now was about 20 minutes then)

Aunty D said, "Must be playing with Daniel la ..."   :D

Your mother's thoughts exactly.

Aunty D is a Horse, like Mom. We think alike.

You know what, You're so not gonna believe this but that clawing the air continued for about 2 hours.

No typing error there.

You heard right.

Hours is what she said. Two hours and could have been longer. We left the hospital at 10:30 pm and at that time, Baby M was still clawing the air, and her eyes still fixed on one spot in front of her. It wasn't the ceiling. No, she wasn't looking at the ceiling lights, if that's what You're thinking. No no no. Her angle was more like positioned at 45 degrees. She must have be fascinated with a different kind of light.

Heaven's light.

Jesus and Mama Mary and all the angels in heaven including You (of course, Son) must have been looking down on her and smiling at her, with God telling her that, "Megan, these are your parents and people who love you very much ... they will be looking after you whilst you are on earth ..."

It was really amazing to watch.

And that, was the 4th sign.

It is interesting to note that it was only on that day right after her birth that Baby M was clawing and reaching out into the air. The next day, and the day after that, she did not do it anymore. It really did feel like there was a ... some kind of send-off ... from heaven. You were probably allowed to play with her at that time, huh Son. :D

It was amazing ... whatever the reason.

Simply amazing. :D

Back to the school mpv ...

When the little boy did that clawing motion in the mpv, it triggered the memory of Aunty D's baby doing the same thing. You were with Mom at that time, weren't You, Daniel? It's obvious You wanted Mom to know that You were / are near. :D

It was awesome, Son.

You're always there with us, for us, by us. We feel your presence with us daily.

Everywhere we are, there You'll be.

Always Daniel ...

You'll be in our hearts until we are together again.

A big hug from all of us, Son. You're a really good boy.

Keep the zaps coming.

Call 395 : TRAFFIC ANGEL

Hello Son,

It's Saturday today ...

Mom drove the maid to the school this morning.

On the way back, YOU RAISE ME UP came on the radio.

A glance at the time on the dashboard brought a big smile to your mother's face.

9:14 am.

Decode : 14

That's like a loud

Hi Ma ... :D

all the way from heaven.

Pause.

Yes Daniel ... Mom heard.

That was like a respond to her thoughts this morning as she uploaded the song ALWAYS THERE on your facebook this morning before going down to the car.

You know I'll never leave you

You can find me everywhere

In the morning light, the evening star

I'm always there

The kids in the van have been playing your cartoon disc LAND BEFORE TIME this whole week.

Yes, Mom has been hearing the song FRIENDS FOR DINNER each day as she sent the children home. Yes Son, Friends For Dinner. Dad and Mom will always remember how You used to sing that line Friends for Dinner. You would say :

Fliends for Linner. :D

On Thursday 9th, Mom was sending the day care kids home in the evening.

There were only 2 kids to be sent home that evening.

Dad had put on a different disc that Thursday morning.

When it started playing, the girl said, "I don't want this tape. I want Land Before Time ..."

The boy echoed, "I want Land Before Time too ..."

Mom had to smile.

Yeah, even she wanted Land Before Time. :D

Land Before Time has been playing in the school mpv since Monday, which means the children have been watching the video and listening to the songs for 4 days ... including Thursday.

Yup, 4 days straight.

For 4 days, Mom has been listening to your version of FRIENDS FOR DINNER ... always feeling a bit melancholy when that song came on. What she would give to turn back the time and freeze the moment ... but then she knows You wouldn't wish for that to happen ... now that You're free ... and have Jesus and Mama Mary by your side.

So anyway, the cartoon was playing.

Mom drove quietly, listening to the cartoon and the chatter of the two children behind her.

After dropping the first child home, we were driving back towards the school. The second kid lives on the opposite end of the road she was on. Something awesome would soon happen. Mom just knew it was YOU.

The evening after-  office jam had started.

It was after 6 pm then.

The cartoon was on. It was quiet in the car except for the DVD. Mom was thinking thinking thinking ... and her thoughts carried her far far away to - somewhere over the rainbow. As we were approaching the school, she turned to the lane that would allow her to take a right turning to the school.

Picture this.

4 lanes on the road. Lane 1 and 2 (on the left side) was the main road, that she was supposed to go on to drop the second kid. Lane 3 and 4 (on the right side) would take her to the right and back to school. There was a set of traffic lights at that junction. Mom was on lane 4, extreme right, at the traffic lights. There were like seven cars ahead of her.

The boy at the back seat called out to her.

Surprised, Mom turned to look behind her, and he gave her a wide grin.

Oh goodness, she was supposed to take the straight road (Lane 1 and 2) towards the boy's home. She had forgotten. She was on Lane 4, extreme right, about 7 cars from the traffic lights. She groaned. Looking at the congestion of vehicles around her, it would probably take 10 to 20 minutes for her to take the right turn and make a U turn further up. She was running late as it was.

The boy's parent would be waiting.

Mom remembers very clearly that about the same moment, she heard the lyrics :

Always there, someone you can count on to comfort you ...

Immediately, she found herself thinking about Bruno Mars COUNT ON ME :

You can count on me, like 123, I'll be there ...

Mom has in fact uploaded the song a few times on your blog.

Wait ...

Wait for it ...

Something awesome was about to enfold right before your mother's eyes.

Yes, she should have known she could count on You.

The light turned green.

Being on the 4th lane on the extreme right, it was not possible for her to make an attempt to drive straight on, without causing a commotion. She had to turn right. However, for some reason, the vehicles on her lane were not moving. She watched the cars on Lane 3 (on her left), move forward one by one ...

The first car moved forward and turned right.

Followed by the second car.

And the third car etc.

When the car beside her (on her left) moved forward, Mom suddenly found herself holding her breath for some reason. You must have whispered to her.

You must have.

The car behind the vehicle beside her continued to be stationary after the car in front of it had driven off.

Mom looked at the left side mirror. That car was still not moving. Neither were the cars on her lane. There was a gap for Mom to quickly slide in and follow that lane, before carefully taking the straight road (instead of right) ... in a dangerous manner ... if You get what she means.

You must have whispered : Switch to the left lane now, Ma ... Now!  :D

because she suddenly found herself swerving to the left, on to Lane 3. By the way, her signal was not on. Everything happened so fast. She had not intended to switch lanes in the first place. Why that car was stationary, she will never know. At the same time, tt was only after she was safely on Lane 3 that the vehicles on Lane 4 started moving.

Omg ... honestly ... that was surreal.

The switch had happened so quickly and so smoothly, like it had been orchestrated.

Yes, by an angel. Mom knows that was your doing, Daniel. There was no way she could have done what she did without an angel's help. She arrived at the boy's home right on the scheduled time.

How amazing. Mom couldn't wait to tell Dad and Justine when she got home. She had to draw out the lanes and the traffic lights and cars, to relate the inciDAN to them properly.

Grin.

That was amazing.

It was like, a traffic angel had suddenly appeared to direct the cars to create a space for her to get onto the correct lane ... and mind you, this happened during heavy traffic hour.

Honestly, that was super incredible.

Thank You Son ... Mom can certainly count on You, that's for sure. :D

Will write again a bit later. Need to run some errands.

Love you, Son ... be good. Keep the zaps coming. :D
