Call 52 : LOVE SONG

Hello Son,

Today, Mom was busy going through a court file for a friend. Spent the whole morning reading through some formal documents and attempting to enlighten her friend about the good prospects of the case.

In the afternoon, Dad and Mom were in Bangsar.

On the way home, we dropped by TMC mini-market to get some milk and bread. Dad stopped by the side of the main road, facing the TMC row. All the side parking spaces were occupied, so he left the engine running whilst he parked alongside the row of parked vehicles. 

Now should Mom be surprised, that when Dad got out, the driver of that car just RIGHT IN FRONT of our car, appeared from nowhere to reverse his car out. Mom didn't even have to reverse our car back. The space was just nice for that small red car to pull out, and drive away, leaving ample space for our car to slip right in. :D

That was pretty neat. :D

Leaning back against the car seat, Mom just had to smile. 

How could she not be amused?

Just think about it ...

A whole stretch of cars lined up at the side of the road, but the one that was RIGHT IN FRONT of us, had to quickly leave, to give us an immediate space. 

Now how many times have You done that for us, Son?

Many many times ... :D

Dad came back to the car some 10 minutes later. Mom told Dad brightly that the minute he got down, the car in front left. :D

We were then driving home when this beautiful song came on the radio.

Last year 2009, during our concert time in November, Mom had taught one of her kids to sing this song (solo) during the graduation ceremony as a dedication to the parents. 

Mom had played and sang the song several times, trying to create suitable hand actions for the kid to follow as she delivered the song, and at one point, You had commented that this is so not a song for kindergarten children. 

Your mother had explained that she had picked this song because it would definitely touch the hearts of all the Mummies in the concert hall on that day. She also specifically told You that every mother would love to have this song dedicated to her at some point in their lives.

Remember? 

Sure You do.

Anyway, as the song was playing in the car, Mom cannot help but think how appropriate the lyrics of the song are for You now to sing to God. 

When You were here, this song would have been a nice dedication for your parents, even your sister, but now ... now, Mom views the lines in a different light. 

It's a different message ...


... with a deeper meaning.

It sure is a beautiful love song to dedicate to God.
