We were at the hotel about 7:30 pm.
Mom was looking around for that sofa area where Jus and You had taken some photos many, many years ago. The lobby looked different from the last time she remembers ...
Justine was 7y and You, 6y old ...
We were soon attending the company's presentation ...
Some 2 hours later, the gathering came to an end. Aunty H and Mom were the last ones to leave the seminar room, apart from the company staffs. We were at the Ladies. :D Dad had already gone down to get the car.
Something ZAP - cute was about to happen ...
Anyway, Aunty H and Mom walked to the lift ... like normal ...
(at this point, Mom went to get her handphone from her bag to make a call. She saw the time 8:44 on the screen. 8:44??? Like last night's???She turned to check the clock on the wall. It's about right. Last night at 8:44 - Justine was singing today, I don't feel like doing anything (Call 222) ... What are the chances of seeing this exact same time this morning? ZAP ZAP ZAP ... Feel your presence, Daniel ... Mom was talking to You earlier about a small concern and you're certainly letting her know You are near ... <3)
Pressed the "DOWN" button ... like normal ...
Chatted and waited ... like normal ...
We were both looking at the number that lit on the panel beside the lift. It showed the lift going down down down ...
We were on Level 2, by the way ...
The lift stopped at Number 4 ...
Mom pointed, "Hey, look!"
Aunty H saw it too. The lift was going down from a 2 digit floor, and it had to ... she repeats, it had to ... stop at the 4th floor.
What a coinciDANS ...
We waited ... for quite a while for the lift to continue its way down to us. It could have been at least one minute before it proceeded down. Hmmm ...
Not so normal - that wait ... but who's complaining? :D
Our eyes were glued on the number 4 ... so much so that when a second lift opposite the one we were waiting for, opened its doors ... Mom was totally not aware ... Aunty H commented with a laugh that those hotel guests in that second lift must have thought us weird, observing the number-panel so intensely ... :D
The lighted number finally changed to 3, and then 2, before the doors slid opened. We walked in.
No, it wasn't her imagination, because Aunty H felt it too - that the lift had stopped unusually long at floor number 4 ... and no where else. Only that one floor.
CoinciDANS??? Of course ...
It's always good to have a witness, your mother knows she has said this before, but it's worth repeating. Be sure to always let her have a witness whenever ... She can't keep on pinching herself ... :D

10. Fast Cars
Mom called Uncle N. He had said earlier during tea that we could meet up again for supper. So we did.
During our noodles, Uncle N had mentioned 2 things that zapped your mother. Like completely. She had felt like You were sitting with us right there. :D
Uncle N was talking about a rich friend who owns a collection of luxury cars, and he had mentioned that the guy has several Ferraris and Lamborghini, and that he was currently contemplating getting a Rolls.
Oh, excuse me ... bat your eyelids right here ... but only one Rolls Royce? Just one?
Mom had listened quietly. Ferrari and Lamborghini? Why, that's your mother's line. Fast cars? Your doctor had a few sports cars as well, and You will remember Mom has said the following line on more than a few occasions,
"Daniel's doctor has a Ferrari and Lamborghini at home, but he only drives the Porche to the hospital ..." :D
Wow ... what are the chances of finding a 14 on a Ferrari? A definite coinciDANS ... :D

11. Fireworks
The second zap would soon come ...

Mom asked about the rich friend's beginnings ... like is he from a wealthy family or is this a rags to riches story? How did he make his money?
Uncle N said, boy, You will not believe this but he said,
"Dia dulu jual mercun api ..."
Mom almost choked on her food.
W-what???
Mom repeated, "Mercun api??? He used to sell mercun api???"
Uncle N said yes.
Oh --- My --- Gosh ...
You have got to be kidding me ... her ...
The first thing that popped into your mother's mind was the word
FiREWORKS ...
even before Firecrackers ... Dad said You can't sell fireworks. He's right, of course. Was that the same for You too? We're thinking of the same ZAP word - Fireworks?

Mom definitely saw sparkles and fireworks alright.
TWO ZAPs ... she must have been grinning like a school girl. You were definitely with us that night during supper. You must have whispered to Uncle N to say those ZAP words.
That sure was a precious moment, Daniel ...
Mom sprang up from her seat to move to another seat beside A, Uncle N's daughter. Mom wanted to share with A the two zaps. A had told Mom earlier that she's been following your angel stories ever since You left.
Also, this evening at tea, your mother was really surprised to see A with Uncle N when he met up with us at the mall. Mom had in fact thought of asking Uncle N to bring A as she needed A's help to sort out some Facebook issues. Dad had said, whilst traveling in the car then, that Uncle N couldn't make it to meet us. So Mom did not mention that she wanted to meet up with A. She did not mention to anyone, yet A appeared before her at tea time ... :D

You said this line a few times on the hospital bed, about a week before You left, when we couldn't understand what You were saying. You had said the sentence twice, but none of your family members could understand it.

Chuckle ... Honestly Son, how lucky is Mom to be reminded constantly that somebody's watching her? After the song, believe it or not, the reception gradually became scratchy. Dad turned off the radio and the silence of the night greeted us.
