Hello Son,
Aunty Diana sms-ed a minute ago and said that she's back at Grandma's house. We should just run over but no ...
No no no ...
Mom has to make her long distance call first to her son ... in a far far faraway place, beyond the clouds, somewhere over the rainbow. :D
Daily, You have shown your mother just how beside her You are.
To cut a really long story short, on Thursday Jan 12, two days ago in school, Mom's Kumbayah girl, E, the 4 year old girl who said she lives "far far away" ... well, she came to school in a bright orange outfit.
Of course, Mom had noticed ...
Of course, a smile had appeared ...
Of course, she had wondered if there would be a second zap ...
There must always be two, remember?
Yes, two ... that's the understanding between Mom and You ...
She's not about to fall all over the place each time she sees an "orange" something ... Her son would soon zap her with a second inciDAN she knew ... she just didn't know what.
Mom was busy in school that morning.
It wasn't until showering time when the next zap happened.
She happened to walk to the back (bathroom) at the time. The attendant, your classmate ... Yes Daniel, Mom knows You sent two of your classmates to the school to help out when school reopened ... :D
That was nobody, nobody but You. :D
Anyway, for some reason, your mother came to help her towel dry a boy. He's 4 year old by the name of S. He hardly speaks and is not known to talk all that much.
Mom picked up a bright orange pair of shorts that was laid out on a chair beside her.
Bright orange ... she had mused ... as she helped the boy put it on.
Her second inciDAN?
She picked up a red striped tee shirt and pulled it over his head.
There ...
Maybe ...
Strange, but there was no - OMG - zap.
Just a mild -- Yeah ... okay ... sure ... maybe ...
Mom picked up his towel to put it aside, and as she did, a bright orange underwear fell out.
She looked down ...
A second bright orange piece of clothing.
Her heart must have skipped a beat, she's sure of that.
Smiling inwardly, Mom said to the boy,
"You have an underwear here. Let's put this on ..."
As your mother was removing his shorts, the boy said,
"Teacher Lynn ... (pause) ... two --- orange ..."
H-huh ???
Time must have stood still for your mother for the next 3 seconds.
Did S say, "Two orange???"
That line came from 4 year old S who hardly said anything?
He said, TWO ORANGE ???
OMG ...
ZAP ZAP ZAP ...
Mom replied as casually as she could,
"Yes, two orange ... Orange is my favourite color ..."
No more interaction.
The messenger only sends the message. Nothing more, nothing less.
Two orange ...
Ah ... You're near, Mom knows ... :D
On Friday Jan 13 ...
Once again your mother was at the back, this time at the pantry area, preparing bottle feeds. A little 2 year old girl, who screams more than she can talk :D, held out her hand in an attempt to give your mother ... "something."
Mom put out her hand, and the little girl dropped the "something" on your mother's palm.
Mom looked ...
It was a bracelet ...
Wait a minute ....
It has a SpongeBob pendant on it ...
SpongeBob ???
Oh Wow ...
Mom noticed a second pendant on the bracelet ...
Could there be two SpongeBob pendants? Mom found herself holding her breath as she turned the pendant over. You must have heard her disappointed sigh ...
Ohhh, it wasn't a second SpongeBob.
It was just Dora the Explorer ...
Oh well ...
Mom took it to place it above the refrigerator top. The little girl would soon be taking her shower anyway. Would You believe it but just as your mother was about to drop the bracelet on the top of the fridge, she noticed a second similar bracelet.
That must belong to L's older sister.
Oh Gee Wow ...
ZAP ZAP ZAP ...
Two SpongeBobs ...
Later that evening, about half an hour before we closed for the weekend, Teacher H said she wanted to prepare some worksheets for the 3 year olds, for the coming week. We would do the alphabets C and D the following week. Mom pulled out her folder with the C worksheets. She has not seen these worksheets before as these were given by Aunty Jessie when she was here 2 weeks ago.
As she was going through the activity sheets, she came across one that made her gasped ... literally.
Oh My Gosh ...
You can't be serious ...
An image of a computer, with the words HELLO ???
HELLO ???
Really ??? HELLO ???
OMG ...
ZAP ZAP ZAP ...
A hundred and one words that could have appeared on the computer image, and it had to be one that would zap your mother? She was so meant to see that. In fact, she had told Teacher H, to prepare the work on Monday, but Teacher H insisted she wanted to do the preparation on that day.
It's so obvious.
Hello Ma ... :D
Yes Daniel, Mom heard You ... :D
Mom told Dad immediately, "I have to call him ... Imagine he has to zap me this way. How cute ... "
Awesome ...
Hello Son ... honestly, You really know how to make your presence felt. So much happened today (Saturday). You made sure of that, didn't You? Will tell You in the next call. :D Keep the zaps coming, Son ...
