Call 399 : NO LOLLIPOPS

Hello Son,                                                                                (continue from Call 398)

FRIDAY, AUGUST 17

It was some time in the afternoon on Friday.

Dad and Mom walked over (from school) to the end of the shop-office to have a quick lunch at a newly opened coffee shop.

After a quick bite, we walked across the road to the small sundry shop on the opposite side.

Mom wanted to get a pack of lollipops.

Friday was our last day of school before we break for one week.

We had given out all the lollipops to the half-day children earlier. Mom had to get some more for the full day kids, who are taking a nap at the material time, but will soon be asking for their lollipop when they get up later. :D

At the sundry shop ...

Mom walked in to the shop, took one round, and came back to the front.

No lollipops in sight.

As she was looking for alternatives, she suddenly realized that the song CHEST TO CHEST (CALIFORNIA KING BED) was playing very softly on the radio in the shop.

Mom had to smile as her chest - to - chest memories flooded in. She would ask for a hug. You would put a pillow in front of You before giving your mother a hug, and she would laugh and say, no ... no pillow ... chest to chest ... at times, just to see her son go beetroot, she would say, boobs to boobs ...

Grin.

Remember that, Son?

That boob word would always turn your cheeks red. You were in lower secondary then.

* Remember this image which Mom downloaded on Tuesday 21. There's a zap story behind it.

It was too random to hear that CHEST TO CHEST song in that shop.

Shrugging, she picked up a packet of jelly cups and paid for them at the cashier.

Dad was waiting right outside the shop.

Mom said, "Chest to chest is on the radio ..."

Grin Grin Grin ...

For the rest of the afternoon, the kids kept her busy and her chest to chest inciDAN was forgotten ...

Until, after school ...

It was after all a Friday.

TGIF ...

Dad and Mom decided to have dinner at the mall.

We needed to get some last minute stuffs anyway for our trip the next day (Saturday). We were going up north to spend some time at the waterfall resort during the Raya weekend.

We had our dinner at Tony Romas. Dad was craving for ribs. :D

Anyway, after our nice dinner, we were walking along the shops.

We were approaching a juice stall.

Mom smiled secretly to herself, as she thought of the zap inciDAN that happened at that stall some time ago ... 21 GUNS were playing on the radio when she was waiting for her drink at the time. Dad was with her. Mom's told You all about it in a previous call ...

Remember?

Yeah, 21 GUNS ...

So anyway, as we were passing the stall ... OMG ... You will not believe it but ...

CHEST TO CHEST was on the radio.

Abruptly, she stopped in her tracks.

Quickly, she checked her handphone, before letting out an excited yelp.

"Omg ... It's 9:12 pm ... Chest to Chest ... Omg ... This song was on this afternoon ... when I was buying lollipop ..."

Mom found it necessary to explain further, in case Dad did not get it. :D

"Nine one, that's ten ... and two ... that's one two ... decode two one ... 21 ..."

Omg ...

What are the chances???

Honestly, what are the chances???

No chance ...

Not a chance in the whole wide world ...

That was surely YOU ...

Definite YOU ...

Nobody, nobody but YOU ...

Eres tu ...
