Call 469 : TEACHER'S DAY

Hello Son,

It's been an incredible week.

Mom's kind of week ... filled with zaps and signs ... and signs and zaps.

Daily, You remind Mom that You are near. Gosh Daniel ... How You continue to make your presence felt so very strongly each day, Mom will never never ever know.

By the way, Son, Mom is really sorry she wasn't able to make her long distance call to heaven last week ...

You know why, right?

Your family was at the karaoke ... believe it or not ...  celebrating Mother's Day.

Aunty C, Justine and Mom ...

Chuckle.

Were You singing with us, Daniel?

We miss your nice singing voice, Son ...:(

Anyway, Mom sang some of your songs ...

DANIEL ...

MY HEART WILL GO ON ...

EVERYWHERE WE ARE, THERE YOU'LL BE ...

21 GUNS ...

BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY ...

Pause ...

Okay, so maybe the last one is not your song ...

Grandma sang, among others, I HAVE A DREAM ...

Yes, I HAVE A DREAM ...

Oh You know ... the one that has the line : I BELIEVE IN ANGELS ...

So anyway, something amazing happened that night ...

Wait for it, will You? Wait for it ...

Let Mom tell You first what happened on Thursday, 2 days ago.

Thursday, May 16 ...

was Teacher's Day

Yes, we celebrated Teacher's Day in school that day.

That morning, all the children in school made a RAINBOW craft for their teacher.

Since the theme for the week was RAINBOW ... Mom thought it would make perfect sense for the children to do their Happy Teacher's Day card with a RAINBOW theme.

Here are some of the art work at the end of the day ...

Take notice of the puffy white clouds ...

The kids wrote HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY on the clouds ...

The children were also taught how to spell RAINBOW in a short tune ...

Yeah, the same tune that we use to spell COCONUT

You know that tune, right?

C-O-C-O-N-U-T ...

C-O-C-O-N-U-T ...

Coconut ... Kelapa ...

Coconut ... Kelapa ...

C-O-C-O-N-U-T ...

So anyway, Mom was telling the children that the RAINBOW song is exactly like the COCONUT tune :

R-A-I-N-B-O-W ...

R-A-I-N-B-O-W ...

RAINBOW, RAINBOW, I see you ...

R-A-I-N-B-O-W ...

Following the story so far?

(Ears to the monitor ... straining to listen ...)

Okay good good ... the awesome part is coming ...

At 1:15 pm, school was over ...

Mom had to drive the "van kids" back. Dad went outstation that day.

Ah, see the change of plans? Your mother was meant to be on the driver's seat that day ... that Teacher's Day.

There were 9 children in the van. One 6 year old boy was sitting in front with Mom.

Everything was as normal as normal could be. The children were noisy, the boy in front was telling Mom repeatedly about his elder brother going on a camping trip for 2 days etc.

Smiling, she drove on ... listening to all the high energy chatter in the van.

Approaching the first house in Taman Desa, she suddenly noticed a stark white cloud line before her eyes.

Wow oh wow, she exclaimed in her heart.

She found herself scrambling for her cellphone to take a picture of the -- sky.

Watching her, the 6 year old boy asked curiously, "Teacher Lynn, what are you doing?"

She replied with excitement in her voice, "Look ... Look at the white line in the sky ... It's a plane ... See the plane ... It's drawing a white line in the sky ..."

Yeah, a plane ... a plane ... like ... the DANIEL song ...

Daniel is travelling tonight on a plane ...

You can see the red tail lights heading for Spain ...

Oh and, I can see Daniel waving goodbye ...

Lord, I miss Daniel ... Oh, I miss him so much ...

Approaching the second stop, at the guard house of a condo, she stopped the van right behind a vehicle at the entrance-barrier.

Gasp.

Omg ...

The car in front of her ...

There was a bumper sticker on the extreme right of the boot -- right before her eyes - that says :

JACK DANIEL'S ...

Omg ... she breathed deeply.

Omg ...

What are the chances? She had just taken a photo of the cloud / plane.

Quickly, she tried to capture a photo of the JACK DANIELS' car ... and this what she managed to get.

Yeah, that red car turning to the right ...

Oh gosh ... What are the chances of spotting a JACK DANIEL'S a minute after she saw that fat cloud - line.

Hi Ma ... I'm right here ... :D

Mom had to smile ...

You're near ...

She dropped off another two children at a different condo, and couldn't stop admiring the cloud that had become even more spectacular ...

This time, she got out of the car to take a photo of the sky ...

Gosh, would You look at the Son ...

By the way, Mom took several photos of the cloud that day with her cell phone. The ones below are taken by simply pressing her cell against the screen, at a traffic light.

Grin.

It was a long curved white line across the sky -- like a white rainbow.

She had to take 3 photos to capture the whole rainbow-thingy.

First, she snapped a picture of the right, then the middle, and then the left.

Strange that the photos of the cloud seems so near, don't You think? These are original photos, directly downloaded from her cell and have not been tempered with (have not been magnified).

After dropping all the kids home, Mom was slowly driving back.

Gosh, the clouds ...

Incredible ...

She was meant to see them ... she could feel it in her bones ...

Are You trying to tell Mom something, Daniel?

Back at the condo, Mom walked over to the window, closed the curtains, turned on the air-con and then the telly.

A movie was on : A Fall From Grace.

She made herself a packet of instant noodles.

Pause for two minutes ...

for the noodles to cook. :D

Don't You shake your head now.

Soon, she was seated on the carpet, and enjoying her noodles before the television.

Barely a minute passed when she heard the name BROOKE DANIELS mentioned on the telly.

W-what?

And there it was again ... BROOKE DANIELS ... mentioned a second time.

Omg ...

This is such a thriller ...

A million and one names out there in the universe ... and she had to be zapped by a JACK DANIELS and a BROOKE DANIELS.

Today ...

Teacher's Day ...

Two times is the understanding between mother on earth and son in heaven ...

A message is coming across ...

Omg ...

Suddenly, in a split of a second, she experienced a Harry Potter flash flash flash of enlightenment ... and she knew.

That was her son wishing her a HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY, too ...

Correct her if she's wrong.

Take a look at all her eviDANS ...

We were doing clouds and RAINBOW the whole morning that day ... and singing the RAINBOW song ... and later in the day, she was overwhelmed by big fat  clouds that she just -- could -- not -- miss ... and then the JACK DANIEL'S and the BROOKE DANIELS.

Overwhelming eviDANS, don't You think?

HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY, MA ... :D

She heard him holler all the way from -- somewhere over the RAINBOW.

She rests her case.

You must have seen a big silly happy grin spreading across your mother's face.

Gosh Daniel, You found a way to send a HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY greeting to Mom.

Just like the MOTHER'S DAY greeting (wait for that, wait for that -- Mom can only tell You one thing at a time ... that was also super incredible).

That Thursday evening, Justine and Mom were in the car, driving out to get dinner. We were driving along Old Klang Road. Your sister wanted to have pandan chicken, and there was only one place we know that served delicious pandan chicken.

We drove there.

Initially, we intended to order take - away ... but upon reaching the food village, there was no one there. It was early, about 6:00 pm at the time. We decided to have our dinner there instead.

We were ushered into a small stall (closed up and air-conned). There was a young family there, a father, mother and their young daughter about possibly 4 to 5 years old.

They were seated on one end of the small stall. Jus and Mom were seated right next to them. At first, the waiter gave us a table right on the other end, but there was a fly buzzing around that table.

Shoo fly, don't bother me ...

That was why we were given this other table, right next to the young family with the child.

For a reason ...

You must have sent that fly ...

We ordered our food ... and then Justine added a coconut for herself, and Mom, pandan water.

While waiting for our food to arrive, Mom told Justine everything that happened that day. Not forgetting the white RAINBOW ...

Soon, we began to hear the little girl beside us saying "COCONUT ..."

She was pointing to the coconut on their table.

Mom raised her eye-brow.

COCONUT?

Mom whispered to Justine, "We were singing the RAINBOW song in the COCONUT tune ... Your brother is here with us ..."

Justine smiled, "Yeah ..."

The lil girl continued to mention COCONUT (and nothing else) throughout dinner.

At one point, Mom looked over and said, "Yes, that's a COCONUT ... clever girl ..."

The young mother and father turned to look and we exchanged smiles.

After our delicious meal, Mom called for the bill.

The bill came ...

Omg ...

Jus and Mom were staring at the bill in awe.

Omg ... How perfect is this?

Would You just take a look at all the angel numbers?

Any way You look at it, it shouts You.

YOU YOU YOU ...

Gosh Daniel ...

Friday, May 17 ...

The next day, on Friday, when Justine came home from school, she said to Mom,

"Today, there was a really big RAINBOW in the sky ... it's like there was a tree on one side, and building on the other side ... and the RAINBOW was right in the middle ... a really big one ..."

Your sister said she's never seen such a big RAINBOW before. Of course, Mom asked her if she took a photo but she said she didn't, her battery was flat. However, her 5 friends were with her, and they all saw it too.

Yes, witnesses ...

Always good to have witnesses ...

With that RAINBOW, your message to Mom is perfect, Daniel.

Thanks so much, Son ... <3

(Have to get ready now to go to church ... will tell You about the Mother's Day zaps in a bit ... )
