It was awesome! Totally.

Dinner at a pub.

Grandma's friends joined us.

What a peaceful town.

Day 14 : Going home tomorrow.

Shopping all day in Liverpool.

Big drama the next morning (Day 15).

Glad it happened though.

Whatsapp Text at 7:14 am to the family ...

Oh boy. The ultimate challenge for mom (Grandma) ... just an hour before our cab comes to take us to the airport. Bryan (Dad) and myself (Mom) walked Carol to the hospital. Upon returning, intercom didn't work ... n mom (Grandma) came down to let us in ... and then we realised we couldn't take the lift up. Need the resident's access card. So mom (Grandma) walked up FOUR flights of stairs. Omgosh. At home demarket (grocer), walking up a few steps is already very exhausting for mom. After 3 months living in Australia, mom (Grandma) has certainly unleashed her SUPER powers.

Truly.

That morning, Grandma walked up 4 flights of stairs ...

OMG.

On her first day in Sydney, she could hardly take a 10 steps without panting and feeling extreme exhaustion. She couldn't walk to the station, which was a 15 minute walk ... and Aunty C always had to call a cab. Aunty C in fact said, she had to push Grandma to make her walk forward ... on the first day. Grandma was that weak.

When Dad and Mom arrived in Sydney, Grandma was already living 2.5 months there.

We made Grandma walk to the station (15 mins walk), and Grandma was so surprised she could do it.

She did the Bondi Beach.

The Blue Mountains.

And now the ultimate test was the 4 flight of stairs.

Grandma definitely got better living in Sydney.

The quality of life in Sydney is so much better than back home.

Our bags are all ready.

Day 15 : Going Home.

Waiting for grab.

We had a wonderful time in Sydney.

In the cab on the way to the airport.

The ride to Sydney airport was about 30 minutes.

Cab came at 9am.

Flight at 1 pm.

We had a really good smooth flight.

They served really good melt-in-the-mouth pies on board.

Fast forward ...

We arrived in KLIA Airport at 7:30 pm.

Malaysian time.

So 8 hours flight.

For some reason, at 8:07 pm,

Justine sent this photo to our family chat.

That's you with Kish.

It was so random.

We were not talking about you at that moment.

Your sister just sent that photo to the chat.

At about the same time, Dad showed Mom

the number registration of our grab.

Thank you for watching over us and keeping us all safe.

Thank you also Son, for sending us reminders

to remind us that you are always by our side

everywhere and all the time.

Over to you.

After uploading this Call 648,

Dad, Mom and Justine got ready to go to the mall.

It was about 6:30 pm in the evening.

We were going to walk around the mall

for some exercise before having dinner.

Justine and Mom were both on the sofa

watching SMALLVILLE

from 12 noon to like 5pm.

Hahahahaha.

So anyway, we left for the mall.

Midvalley Mall.

At the entrance to the carpark,

there was a car in front of us with the number plate

VBG  8

Dad saw and mentioned something about burgers.

Mom said, "Veggie Burgers for dinner?"

That's 8 ... 44 ... He's clearly with us.

Veggie burgers. Haha.

Your humour.

(We had to order veggie burgers when you were unwell.)

You must have whispered into Mom's ears.

Mom said with a smile.

Mom didn't take a photo of the number plate.

She had left her hp at home.

So anyways, Dad parked the car.

We walked towards the entrance to the mall.

Just as we were walking a few steps ahead of

where we parked the car,

Justine pointed out, and said,

DEE DEE DEE

Mom's ears pricked up.

DDD???

Why, Mom had just told you about DDD

in her Call just before going to the mall.

(the grab that brought us home from the airport)

Mom walked over to the front of the car to have a look,

Mom said to Dad,

"Can you take a photo of the number plate?"

Dad took out his hp and snapped a photo.

Oh my.

What are the chances???

You are zapping Mom. She could feel it.

Clearly, you have received your mother's call.
