It's the 1st day of Chinese New Year today.
We had our reunion dinner last night at Grandma's place.
Here are the photos taken last night on 21st,
your 13th anniversary as well.

When we first arrived at Grandma's home,
Mom was not sure if she should mention that
it was also your 21st ...
but Megan came to Mom and presented her
with a flower (origami) with 4 petals ...
Megan pointed to each petal saying,
this represents Uncle Bryan, Teacher Lynn,
Justine and Daniel.
Ahhhh.
Your sweet name was mentioned.
Mom took the sign and announced to Grandma,
"Today is also Daniel's anniversary."
Grandma was like, "Ohh. How many years?"
Mom replied, "13."
"We are celebrating reunion dinner together with Daniel too!"
This would be the first time your anniversary coincided
with the Chinese New Year reunion dinner.
That night, after a really yummy steamboat dinner,
we went back home to continue our (wait for it)

Love Island Australia (Season 4).
Lol.
We were about to begin the episode where they bring in
a new boy ... who happened to be Claudia's ex-boyfriend.
It was past midnight.
We would go to bed after that episode ended.
Then Mom heard your second name mentioned (on telly).
JASON.
Say what???
Of all the names that could have been, that new guy
who appeared on Love Island, is called JASON.
Mom was grinning.
Turning to Dad, Mom said, "Just before retiring,
I have to hear his name ... "
Smile.
Lots of smiles.
Mom went to bed with a big smile on her face.
This morning is the 1st day of Chinese New Year.
We went over to Grandma's again for brunch,
plenty of food left from last night. Grandma will
be going to Genting Highlands with her friends at 2 pm.

| The soup today is --- legendary. |
After our sumptuous brunch, and a bit of red wine,
we drove out to the grocer.
Justine and Megan were going to make cupcakes
and we needed to get some cupcake holders.
So, Dad dropped them at the grocer, and drove out
again. We had to drop the maid off at her place.
After sending the maid home, Dad parked the car nearby
the grocer. We were waiting for Justine's call to pick them up
when they are ready.
Mom caught sight of this big word on the right.

Seriously, what are the chances of Mom seeing
your name this morning? You must have whispered
to Dad to park at that spot, because we have always
passed this road but have not noticed this shop
before. LOL.
Two times ...
