Call 584 : GROW TALLER

Hello Son

Wednesday, Dec 16

The concert is over and done with.

Phew!

Thank God.

Here's the link to our school blog.

After the concert, Mom had to take a long, long Sleeping Beauty rest.

Chuckle.

So anyway, today ... Mom had a date with Justine ... haha ... yup ... girls' day out.

And when was the last time, thank you very much?

We were going to the mall to have our nails done.

Uncle KL dropped us at the mall. Before that, in the car, DELILAH came on the radio.

Hearing that, Mom smiled to herself.

Mom remembered once when Justine was all dressed up, this song also greeted her in the car. You are so with us ... that's so obvious. Thanks Son, for always being by our side, and reminding us again and again and again ... that wherever we are, there you'll be.

At the mall ...

Your sister wanted to have something to eat before our pedi session.

PappaRich ... she said she wanted.

Off we went to the cafe.

It was lunch time, and the place was kinda crowded.

Your sister found a vacant table and we headed towards it.

Mom noticed the table number.

23

Another smile broke out.

That's 1994. Your birth year.

You're definitely with us, Daniel.

Come sit down with Jus and Mom, your mother's heart whispered.

A text came beeping into Mom's cell.

It was a parent from school, who wanted to tell Mom that the parent had bought a bun for her child this morning and a pack of biscuits for herself. She (the parent) had just discovered that her biscuits had already passed the expiry date. The parents wanted Mom to make sure the bun is good for her child.

The parent had bought the biscuits and bun from the mini-market beside our school.

What???

The mini-market sold an expired product to the parent???

Mom was totally annoyed.

Immediately, she sent a text to Dad, who happened to be in school at the time (fixing our school's bicycles).

The parent informed Mom that she bought a pack of DAHUA biscuits. Mom asked her to return them and get it replaced, but the parent said she had already thrown them away.

DAHUA ...

Never heard of those biscuits before.

Dad then sent a photo of the biscuits.

Omg ...

Gasp ... as she saw your name.

DAN???

And hello ... RM2.40???

24 being your birthdate.

Mom showed the photo to Justine.

Your sister gave a chuckle and said, "DANHUA ... HUA is part of his name ..."

Oh ... Oh ya ...

"Same spelling?" Mom asked.

Your sister laughed and said yup.

You heard right.

His name ....

Someday we will talk about this. It's not Mom's secret to tell. So be patient and wait till the time is right. Nope, don't bug your mother. We are not going into that, at this point of time ... just know that we know that you want us to know you definitely have something to do with the HUA guy.

Hah.

Mom sent a reply to Dad : Oh my. Dan. 24. Son really got style. Zap Zap.

Dad sent another photo - with the expiry date. We wanted to get another packet of those biscuits to the parent.

Mom's umm, trained eyes went straight to the 30.12.2015.

Oh my ...

Seriously ...

30 12 2015

Decode :  21  21  44

She drew in a deep breath. No matter how You're gonna look at it, the signs are all right there ... to tell her and remind her that her son is right there beside her.

Zap Zap.

Fast forward ...

At the Nail Shop.

Mom was flipping through a magazine.

Justine was on the seat beside Mom.

The 2 pedicurists were scrubbing away and sandpapering our heels.

Is there such a word - sandpapering?

At one point, Justine's pedicurist asked Mom, "Are you a Catholic?"

The girl pointed to Mom's crucifix (on the neck).

Mom said, "Yes ..."

Both the girls said, "We are Catholics too."

With that, your mother found herself blurting out immediately, "Hey, did you hear about the statue of Mary that grew 3 inches taller?"

The girls were like, "Yes yes ... we heard ... is it true???"

"Of course it's true," Mom replied indignantly, as if she had witnessed the miracle herself.

Could there be any doubts?

Omg ...

A Mother Mary's miracle in St Thomas More Church in Subang.

(Report extracted from the internet)

A statue of the Virgin Mary is drawing crowds of people after visitors and even church officials attest that they've seen the figure of the mother of Jesus seemingly coming "alive" as it "grows taller, smiles and cries" at times.

The reported "miracle" is taking place at the Church of St. Thomas More in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, a predominantly Muslim country, the Star Online said.

The Virgin Mary statue, known as Our Lady of Fatima, is found in the grotto inside the church compound.

Our Lady of Fatima is one of the titles given to the Virgin Mary by the Roman Catholic Church based on the apparitions reported to have been experienced by three shepherd children at Fatima, Portugal, in 1917.

According to a WhatsApp message that has been circulating, the Our Lady of Fatima statue was recently placed on top of a box in the grotto after some parishioners noted that it was too small for the grotto.

The first miracle was seen on Wednesday, Oct. 14, when the blessing ceremony for the statue took place. Father Raymond Pereira, the parish priest, immediately noticed an "unusual occurrence"— the statue originally made of fibreglass had apparently turned to porcelain and "grew taller" by three inches (7.5cm), reports said.

Pereira declined to make further comments when approached by reporters, saying he needed permission from higher church authorities before making a formal announcement. "We are waiting for confirmation from the Vatican before making an official statement," he said, according to The Star Online. He said he will consult first with Kuala Lumpur Archbishop Julian Leow Beng Kim.

Earlier, a three-minute video circulated online showing the Virgin Mary statue which was apparently taken during Sunday Mass at the church last week. In the video, a parishioner claimed to have witnessed the "miracle."

"Her eyes were moving very slowly, all of us were there and we saw it," he said. "The father (priest) was saying, 'Look at her, she's looking at us. She was full of life, she had a lot of tears in her eyes.'

"When we started singing 'Ave Maria,' she started smiling and her lips were moving.

"It touched all of us," the man said.

"The father (priest) had told us that he actually spoke to her. She will come more often, she also told father that she wants all of us to pray to her," the unidentified man added.

Pause.

How amazing.

Father Raymond Pereira ... the priest who married Dad and Mom ... witnessed these miracles? A thousand priests that could have been in place to bless the statue on that day but God chose the priest that was connected to your family.

Oh Wow ... Mom felt a special connection already.

One of the girls commented, "There was another miracle in Subang hospital ..."

"Yes yes ... the image of Mother Mary on the window pane," Mom offered eagerly.

"Is it true?"

Is -- it -- true?

Again the question of disbelief ...

Why is it so difficult to believe?

Pause.

Oh ...

Okay right, maybe it wasn't a question of disbelief ... but rather, a question of awe.

The image on a window glass pane believed by Catholics to be Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ, has drawn large crowd daily since it was first spotted on November 9, 2012 at Sime Darby Medical Centre, Subang Jaya.
An image on a window glass pane that many Catholics are convinced to be Virgin Mary continued to draw huge crowd since its reported sighting on November 9, 2012.
Its appearance on a window pane on the seventh floor of Sime Darby Medical Centre (formerly Subang Jaya Medical Centre), a private hospital in Subang Jaya, has attracted thousands of Catholic faithfuls who came daily to pray, sing hymns and light candles as well as curious onlookers from different faiths on this rare supernatural phenomenon happening in Malaysia.
It is believed that this is the second apparition of Mary to appear in Malaysia. The first apparition of Mary was reported in Keningau, Sabah in June 2007.
A retiree Alex Nathan, 58, who was at the hospital for the third time said the image look very similar to Mother Mary.
“I was really struck by the image the first time I saw it because it looks so similar to Mother Mary. And the image appearing on all places in a place like this in a window glass pane so high up, its really amazing!” said Nathan, a Catholic.
He said: “It is some thing that comes from inside. The minute you see something like that, you are already attached to it so that’s basically the feeling that I got. For me the message has been only one and very simple – that many of us has lost the sense of pray in our faith, so it’s telling us to go back to pray.
“That’s the message I can see from this whole thing and it is good when you look at the people coming here and that’s exactly what they are doing. The message is pray. Go back to basics. Keep praying because the world is in real trouble with all kinds of problems so we need to pray for peace to the world.”

Yes, people are just so in awe and they want to believe so badly that they need to be assured again and again and again that what they believe is true.

The image of the Virgin Mary was first spotted on November 9, 2012 at Sime Darby Medical Center, Subang Jaya.

It was reported that the Church of St Thomas More in Subang Jaya had written to Sime Darby Medical Center which granted permission for the hospital glass pane to be removed and to be taken to Church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Klang for testing by theologians and religious authorities.

Wow ... Can You imagine that? 3 years after St Thomas Church asked for the window pane, another miracle happened in their church.

Gosh, how do You explain this?

Daniel?

Mom told Justine, "Daniel must have asked Mama Mary to appear so that your umm, friend, would believe ..." :D:D

Not that her friend doesn't ...

"but your brother probably wants you to introduce your friend to Mama Mary." :D:D

After all ...

Look at the signs.

The first image was in the hospital ... the hospital where You were born ... the same hospital where You had a round of gamma laser radiation during one of your brain treatments.

Thousands of hospitals that the image could have been formed at, but it had to appear on the hospital that is connected to You???

And now a second miracle happens in the same vicinity ...

Two Mama Mary inciDANS?

One in 2012 ... and the other in 2015.

21 ... and 15 ...

Both your numbers.

Mom rests her case.

Hah. And that is why she is barred from practice.

When she makes perfect sense, nobody gets it.

At this point, Mom just had an exchange of words with Uncle KL, your father's brother ... regarding the statue growing taller.

Your uncle said, somebody exchanged the statue and it was people's imagination that the statue smiled.

It's sad he doesn't know Mother Mary like You do.

It's hard to share with him.

It would be difficult to convince him ... and You know what? Mom's not gonna bother trying to convince anyone. His time will come. Mother Mary is real to us, and she has been there in all our personal encounters, even at the time when You breathed your last breath.

Someday, Mom's gonna write about that last chapter of your journey.

She's not ready to share that yet.

So anyway ...

On Tuesday, 2 days ago ... Dad brought Mom to a bike shop to view a bike that Dad likes.

We went for a ride on 2 different models. Don't ask Mom which model. One was like a classic low, and the other had a higher back seat. That's all she can say.

Chuckle.

Oh wait, Dad is here. Let Mom check with Dad

Oh ok. Dad said:

The first is : Triumph Bonnerville

The second is : Street Triple R

Here's Dad on a ... a ... red bike.

orange bike

The time has come.

Ready for a short story?

Listen carefully.

So ... Dad and Mom ... when we first entered the bike shop, Mom spotted the above orange bike instantly ... for obvious reasons.

We had walked towards the orange bike. There was a small puddle of water right beneath the bike. Mom commented, "Something's leaking from the bike ..."

Dad said, "It's water ..."

Water?

Like ... water in the brain ... Lourdes water ...

Mom shook her head. She was trying too hard -- to make a connection.

She thought no more of it.

But yeah, she liked the orange tank. It's just so --- so --- ORANGE.

Shortly after, we went for a trial ride on those 2 triumph (like -- bra?) and triple R bikes.

When we came back after the trial rides, we were in the shop once again.

Mom found a spot to sit down.

She watched Dad test the red bike that was beside the orange bike.

A man soon came over and announced, "This bike is sold ..."

Mom saw him pointing to the orange bike.

Oh, of all the bikes that was in the shop ... and there were about 30 over ... he bought the one that she liked best.

The orange one.

Dad said, "Oh? You bought the orange bike? Congratulations!"

The guy replied, "Actually I like the red bike (the one that Dad was sitting on) but the ... bla bla bla" can't remember what he said about why he couldn't buy the red one and had to end up with the orange bike.

Then, omg ... You're so not gonna believe this.

The guy slipped a card on the seat of his newly bought orange bike.

Mom glanced at the card and ... gasped!

Omg, what are the chances???

DANNY

Mom nudged Dad. She couldn't contain her excitement.

Dad turned ... saw ... and grinned.

Omg ...

"My son really has got style ..." she breathed.

What are the chances???

ORANGE bike and DANNY???

ZAP ZAP ZAP ...

Truly, everywhere we are, there you'll be ... <3

Thank you, Son ... for always reminding Mom that You are right beside her all the time. Every day, she receives a little sign and a little zap which she knows could only come from You. Think about it. That guy wanted to buy the red bike. Had he bought the red bike, he would have slipped the DANNY name on the red bike ... now which would zap Mom ...  DAN on the red bike or DAN on the orange bike???

Precisely her point. :D

You must have whispered to the guy, "Get the orange bike ..." That guy probably couldn't understand why he finally chose the orange bike when it was actually the red one that he liked

Grin. Anyway ...

Thank you, JESUS and MAMA MARY for keeping You safe. Mom told Dad that You probably asked Mother Mary to grow taller to catch Mom's attention. Had She grown fatter, Mom might not have got that excited. But taller??? You were always trying to grow taller than Dad ... would always try to measure up to Dad ... and when You left us, Aunty C asked You if You were taller than Jesus. :D

"Maybe my son's trying to tell me that he's grown 7.5 cm taller." Mom announced to Dad

Haha.

Well? Have You, Daniel? You have, haven't You?

Over to You, Son ... <3

Missing You every moment of every moment.

Be good.
