Hello Son,
Sunday, June 1
Grandma's birthday.
We celebrated in Genting Highlands.
Dad and Mom went on Sunday morning,
after the Sunday morning mass at 6:30 am.
Here are some photos we took
during dinner that evening at 6 pm.

Food was really yummy.
We enjoyed the evening.
Then Dad went to get the bill.
Earlier in the day, Mom told Grandma :
"Your 4 daughters and 4 sons-in-law
are buying you dinner this evening."
Hee hee.
Yup, Mom found herself expressing
the sentence that way.
That angel way.
Who would know?
Nobody.
Just Mom.
(2 daughters and their husbands
were in attendance whilst
the other 2 couples are in US)

Number 21 was on our table.

Dad and Mom will be staying on
in Genting with Grandma
for another 2 days.
Monday, June 2nd
Next morning, we went for
dim sum.
It was about 10 am.
We were waiting for the lift.
At 22nd floor.
The lift arrived.
It was empty.
Dad, Mom and Grandma
stepped in.
From 22nd floor, the lift
stopped at the next floor.

Mom looked at the lit number 21.
The doors opened.
A family of 4 came in.
Presumably father, mother,
and their two little girls.
Mom's eyes were drawn to
the words on the girls' tee shirts.
The first was : MOTIVATE
The second : HAPPY
Motivate?
Mom thought - hard.
What message could that possibly be???
Pause.
No zap.
The second word?
Hmmmm.
You would always say you were
number 2 and show the V fingers.
Happy.
Awww.
That's heart-warming.
Happy?
As in her son is telling her he's happy ...
Or may he's wishing his grandma a
happy birthday ...
Grin.
Whichever it was supposed
to mean, it certainly brought
a big smile to your mother's face.
It was not possible to snap
a photo of those two tee shirts.
We were all in close proximity.
We walked over to the
nearest chinese restaurant.
Grandma didn't want to
walk too far away.

After breakfast,
we walked to the casino.
At the GOLD club,
Grandma went to her favourite
roulette table.
Dad and Mom hung around
for a bit and then went to walk
around the outlets.
Mom told Grandma that
Dad and Mom will return later
to take Grandma for dinner.
Fast forward
Evening came.
Dad and Mom went to the casino.
We took the escalator up and
walked over to Grandma's table.
Photography is prohibited in
the casino, by the way.
Normally, Mom is not deterred
by such notices ... but a casino
security guard once did catch
a patron taking photos, and had
demanded for the handphone
from the startled foreign lady,
to DELETE the photos.
Yup, that happened right in front
of Mom's eyes.
Your mother always felt that was
for her benefit.
At Grandma's table ...
Mom looked at the score board.
OMG.
It was a number 21.
That present number was a 21.
OMG.
Seriously???
Number 21???
When your mother arrived
at the table???
Then, the next number that came.

What???
Nobody's going to believe her.
Two rounds of number 21!!!
Dad went to get some water
but soon came to the table.
Mom was like bursting with excitement.
OMG. Look at the numbers.
21 - two rounds.
Dad saw, and then said,
"24 also came up twice, earlier."
What??
5 rounds before the number 21,
number 24 also came up twice.
OMG.
24th is your birthdate.
What are the chances???
"I'm standing right here,
and number 21 came up
two times! And now you also
see number 24, which also
came up twice. OMG. Seriously!
What are the chances???"
That's Son making his presence felt.
He's saying hello ...
from heaven and all the way to
the - casino.

Mom went over to Grandma and
whispered, "I just came ... and
number 21 came up twice!"
Your grandmother let out
a self-defeating groan.
Too bad, Grandma did not bet
on that number.
LOL.
We left the casino and went for dinner.
It was around 6:30 pm.

After dinner, we accompanied

The time was about 8:30pm.
Grandma said to pick her up
at 10:30 pm.
Dad and Mom went for a
long walk and then back to
the room.
It was about 10pm, when
Dad and Mom left the room and
walked to the casino.
Mom was wondering what
number she would see when
she arrives at Grandma's roulette table.
Your parents reached the casino.
We went through the security
and up the escalator.
Mom walked to the table.
Grandma only play on
"that" table.
At the table, Mom looked at the present number drawn.
It was a Number 22.
Ohh.
Hmmm.
Oh well, that's 4 too,
Mom thought in her head.
Grandma decided to call
it a night.
As your grandmother
was keeping her chips,
and her roulette paper,
carefully into her new bag,
the croupier spins the
roulette wheel.
Mom watched the
roulette wheel spin.
The ball was going round
and round and round.
Then, it slowed down and
finally landed on ...
OMG ...
Number 21!!!!
What???
Mom's eyes shot to the
score board to make sure.
Yup, it was a number 21.
OMG.
It was number 22,
when Mom arrived at the table,
and the next number was 21.
Your mother was at the table.
Number 21 appears again?
Seriously, what are the chances?
So anyway ...
The time was 10:18 pm.
Grandma wanted to have supper.
We walked to a nearby mini cafe
inside the casino, and ordered
some food.
Grandma had wan ton noodles
with dumplings, Dad and Mom
had steamed spare ribs.
After our supper, Grandma
walked back to her roulette table.
Mom followed.
The number at that moment
when we arrived at the table was
number 22.
Oh boy.
22 again??? Your mother
commented in low tones to Grandma.
When Mom arrived at the table
this evening, it was number 22.
And now, just before going back
to the room, the number is again
showing 22.
Mom texted to Dad (22:53).
"Came 22. Ended 22."
Meaning, when we came,
(to the roulette table)
the number was 22,
and then when we were going back,
the number was 22 again.
Mom said to Dad,
22 in the beginning,
and 22 in the end.
Decode 22 : 4.
The message that Mom got :
Number 4 is with us,
from beginning to end.
Hah.
Try beating that.

What an incredible message!
Mom had a big grin on her face,
walking from the casino,
all the way back to the hotel room.
It was only when we went back
to the hotel, that your mother
realized that we were staying
on the 22 floor.
Mom was holding the room card,
and she had to scan the card for
access to our floor.
OMG.
At the point of writing this call-text,
Mom is checking out the receipt.
Dad was keeping the receipt.
Room number 22904.
22nd floor, room number 904.
Oh wow!

Shortly after, we were all ready to go down.
At the lift ...
Dad posed to show the
2 times 22.
Hee hee.
We went to the cafe at the lobby.
Dad went to get the food.
Grandma and Mom walked
over to a vacant table.
Grandma took out her roulette
paper.
An empty one.
Grandma had a stack.
LOL.
So your grandmother started
drawing the lines.
Grandma has always explained
that there is a pattern to have a
good guess what the next number
would be.

After breakfast, Grandma
went to the casino (on her own).
Dad and Mom will meet

to check in into another room
(upgraded).
We had checked out from
the first room.
Dad and Mom were attending
to the bags and so Grandma
went to the casino herself.
Fast forward ...
It was about 2 pm,
when Dad and Mom went
to the casino to get Grandma.
Mom couldn't wait to see the
number on the roulette chart board.
At the roulette table, Mom checked.
Number 8.
Ahh. That's 44.
Then, the roulette wheel spun
and the next number was :
Number 25.
What??
25??
Isn't that Michael Jackson?
OMG.
44 and 25.
You must be telling Mom that
you are pals with MJ.
Hee hee.
Mom is laughing to herself.
So anyway, we left the casino
and walked to the hotel lobby.
Grandma checked us in.
Yeah, your grandmother
has got all the VIP privileges.

Yeahh. It's your parents and
Grandma in Genting at the
moment.
After the check in, Grandma went back to the casino.
Grandma said to get her at 11 pm.
"Tonight is the last night."
We were going back the next day.
Fast forward ...
At 22:33 ...
Grandma called.
She said excitedly,
"I made 7K.
I'm ready to go back.
Come here now."
OMG!!!
WHAT???

YAHOOOO!!!
Dad and Mom practically
ran to the casino.
Mom was so excited.
At the casino, Grandma was beaming.
From ear to ear.
Mom took out her handphone
and snapped these 2 photos
to send to the family.
A lady passed by and spoke softly,
"You cannot take photos here."
Oooops!
OMG.
It was amazing!
