CALL 825 : LAMP CRAFT

Hello Son,

It's 21.08 pm.

Dad and Mom went for a Korean BBQ after school this afternoon.

We were at the restaurant at 1.30 pm.

We had a whole 2 hours to eat all the MEAT we can eat.

After yesterday's rice and cake,  Mom felt like she had to go all ANIMAL today.

Lots and lots of grilled bacon and chicken wings.

Oooh,  yummy!

Your parents had the most satisfying lunch.

Meantime,  Grandma,  Uncle Craig and Aunty Jess ...

went up to Genting Highlands.

From 10 am to 3 pm.

Grandma wanted to go to the casino.

So anyway ...

Aunty J sent this photo of her breakfast up in Genting around 11 am.

Apparently,  Uncle C was refused entry into the casino because he was carrying a backpack.

So,  he found a nice Fish & Chips eatery and chilled there.

Grandma made 1k.

Hurrah!

So anyway ...

The 3 of them came back down to KL and they met up with Dad and Mom at the mall about 5pm.

Grandma was hungry.

She forgot her lunch.

She was too focused at the roulette table. Lol.

Dad and Mom went to the coffee shop.

Grandma and Aunty J were already seated.

Mom asked,  "Where's Craig?"

Aunty J said,  "He's walking around with his friend ..."

His friend?

That Michael friend?

Lol.

Omg.

Seriously?

Today too?

Ahhh ...

but it is after all June 25 today in America.

Hee hee.

So,  Grandma and Aunty J were seated opposite Dad and Mom.

They made their orders.

Dad and Mom shared an iced tea.

We have just had a big lunch,  remember?

So anyway ....

we were just casually chit-chatting when suddenly,  Aunty J mentioned about one of her students ....

who made craft lamps ..

Aunt J said she bought 2 lamps from Daniel ....

(Mom's eyes would have widened at this point)

and each lamp is USD12.

Yes,  the boy is Daniel.

Your parents met Daniel before when we were in the States in December 2024.

Your mother had to hear your name, Daniel, mentioned and that your aunt bought 2 lamps from this Daniel boy ...

12 x 2 = USD 24

Decode

42

That's 21

ZAP ZAP!!

Mom had a happy grin on her face.

In fact,  on the first day when your Uncle and aunty arrived,  we were at this noodle restaurant,  when Uncle C mentioned something like :

"I'm glad he came back ..."

Mom had casually asked,  "Who?"

For the sake of conversation.

Uncle C replied,

"One of our kids ... he left us ... but he came back .... Oh, you know him .... Daniel ... remember him?"

Does Mom?

Yeah,  of course.

Dad and Mom will always remember that boy, Daniel in Aunty J's school in the States.

Mom (and Aunty Carol) were helping to make and sell bracelets at the time, to raise funds and this Daniel boy had drawn a USD5 on a piece of paper and presented to us as money.

Hahahaha.

At the table,  Mom sipped her iced and thought quietly to herself.

Somehow,  her son would always find a way to let her know he's near.

Always.

Like --  all the time.

Then,  Aunty J talked about the lift last night.

Grandma too.

Your grandmother said,  "That was quite frightening (being trapped in the lift) ... Ryan cried when he finally got out of the lift ..."

Aunty J said,  "We cannot let the kids use the lift on their own .... It was quite scary yesterday ..."

Both Grandma and Aunty J said the lift experience was "frightening" and " scary."

Mom toyed with the idea of sharing that ZAP she got from the lift.

people trapped in the lift ...

For 21 minutes.

Mom found herself unable to share that -- ZAP.

In her experience,  Mom knows there are things that happen between her and her Son in heaven ...

are meant to be private ...

and not casually shared over a coffee table.

The ZAPS are sacred.

They are meant for your mother ...

and your mother alone.

When she tries to share them ... she has to explain ... and people would look at her like she's gone nuts.

They don't see it ...

They seldom do ...

and by the time,  she tries to make them see,  more often than not,  they see nothing ....

like it's not a big deal ....

and before your mother knows it,

the magic would just ...

disappear.

So,  Mom just kept the lift ZAP to herself.

It wasn't frightening.

It wasn't scary.

It was just her son making his presence felt to his mother.

Shrug.

There are things that should remain a secret.

After all,  the famous Titanic line says :

"A woman's heart is an ocean of secrets."

Something like that.

Anyway .... fast forward.

We went home.

6 of us.

In one car.

Dad drove.

Uncle C,  Grandma and Michael sat behind.

Mom and Aunty J sat together in the front passenger seat.

Lol.

Omg.

It was hilarious.

Thankfully,  it was a short drive from the mall to our condo.

At home,  Mom turned on the TV and she saw this.

Mom sent it to Uncle Chris.

Uncle Chris doesn't quite believe Michael can reach 1 Billion.

True enough ... Uncle Chris sent this below write-up ...

from God-knows-where.

Mom briefly scanned through the info and typed out a quick reply :

"Mine is advance news."

Heehee.

Dad dropped Mom,  Aunty J

and Grandma back home.

The 3 guys went to get some drinks.

There was a mobile stall selling burgers.

Uncle Craig was so fascinated

and impressed by

the size of the chicken chop

in the burgers.

Nasi lemak.

Uncle Craig and Michael (Lol)

are lining up at the stall.

See the last 2 guys in the queue.

Aunty J couldn't believe

they took the trouble to line up.

Dad said, "Tonight,  the stall is

gonna sell more burgers ...

two white guys queuing up

to buy ..."

Heehee.

Ok,  Son.

Need to go.

Talk to you tomorrow ya.

Nite nite.

Mom
