Call 605 : A TRIBUTE

Hello Son

Our school project is ready.

The video made by the children.

If We Hold On Together.

How we got all the videos is another story altogether.

Amazing things can happen when you believe.

Show the videos to Jesus and Mama Mary, k?

Hugs,

Mom

A TRIBUTE

VIDEO

RYAN'S DEMO VIDEO

When Mom first decided to do the video ... it was just a small, tiny idea.

Small ... because your mother has never done anything like this before ... and she does not have the experience to think bigger than the small idea she initially had ... which was :

A video for the 6 year olds graduating students.

And tiny ... because it didn't look possible for Mom to produce this virtual video as she knows completely next to nothing about the know how or how to.

Nope, not a single clue.

Mom discussed it with Aunty D, and told Aunty D to search for a tutorial video for us to try to make this virtual video.

After a few days, Aunty D said she went through some videos, but they were all hard to understand. It's not a straightforward thing, she said.

It's difficult.

Your mother's small, tiny idea was fast becoming um, microscopic ... when she happened to mention to one of her teachers, who was in our home that day (because of online classes), that we were thinking of trying to do a virtual video ... and Teacher A casually replied that she knows how to do.

Pause.

What?

Really?

You know how to do this video?? Mom asked her repeatedly.

The one that has many children put together in one video - you know how to do that?

Teacher A was laughing when she confirmed it.

Oh boy ... how wonderful.

So Mom prepared a simple tutorial video with Teacher A and Teacher E for the children to follow and practise at home. We also had several practise rounds during Music & Movement session online ... which was not easy to do, but we tried our best to do as much as we can.

We received the videos from the 6 year old parents by our due date 14th November.

All of our 15 graduates sent in their videos.

It was amazing.

Then, Aunty D happened to record Baby Ryan (3 years old) doing the routine when big brother Dylan (6 years old) was practising his movements at home.

See the 2nd video above. :D

That made Mom think ... hey, the little ones can do it too.

So, Mom decided to have all the children in the school to to their own video.

Your mother started to send her tutorial video (the video beside Ryan dancing) to all the other children.

Due date for them was 21st November.

It was soon apparent that the younger children did not find this project as doable as the 6 year old graduates. By the 21st, there were about 10 parents who gave frustrated feedback that they were not able to get their child to make the video.

Mom shared Ryan's video with them.

Pause.

Fingers crossed.

One by one, the parents sent in their child's video.

Perhaps it is easier for a child to imitate another child.

Oh, that video of Ryan certainly helped.

Thinking back, You must have whispered to Baby Ryan to do his little dance moves, and Aunty D to record that. Imagine Aunty D even recorded right to the end ... where Ryan jumps up and down shouting "I DID IT! I DID IT!"

How cute was that!!

Later on Aunty D would say that she's thankful she recorded the whole video ... because the song is about 5 minutes long. Normally she would only record a minute or 2 to share with the family.

So anyways ... to cut a long story short ... the video was done on the 3rd of December ... which happened to be Teacher A's birthday. Yeah, we planned it that way so that we could go out to celebrate on Thursday 3rd.

Mom and Dad took Teacher A out to Bangsar to have lunch. We were so happy that day, having made the video ... which was quite impossible to do in the beginning.

That night at home, Mom went to the fridge to take 2 small tubs of yogurt.

She gave one to Dad.

Your parents were enjoying the yogurt before the telly.

Half-way through, for some reason only You would know because You had something to do with that, but Mom stopped to flip over the cover of the yogurt tub.

She wanted to see the Best Before date.

Mom has never done that before -- check the Best Before date halfway through her yogurt -- your parents only check the Best Before date when buying at the grocers.

Anyway ...

Mom saw this.

GASP!

OMG!!!

OMG!!!

ZAP!!!  ZAP!!!  ZAP!!!

What are the chances???

Mom yelled out to Dad, "OMG, see my date ... it's

21/1/21

January 21 is your anniversary.

You left us to live with Jesus and Mama Mary on

21st January, 2010.

OMG! Would You just take a look at those numbers.

Do You not see : 21/1/21 ???

Mom could only stare at her yogurt cover to hold on to that precious ZAP moment.

Check out the numbers 01:43.

Is that some kind of time? She didn't care because she saw another message from her Son.

01:43

OMG ... is that not 44???

Your angel code number.

Mom was so happy.

"I knew Daniel was behind this, I knew it. He was definitely helping us out with the video. It was too amazing how everything just fell into place so nicely. We just finished it today ... and we are about to upload. I have to see this date on my yogurt tub. He has just whispered to me, I know it. Since when do I ever check the date half-way through my yogurt???? Never ever! It's miraculous how this video could have been made. We had an angel's help alright!! That's so so confirmed."

Thanks so much, Son.

You truly are so helpful ... even though You are so far away. You really do know how to make your presence felt ... at all times, Daniel. Mom is so grateful to Jesus for that.

The bond between a Mother and her child can never be severed.

It's so true.

Never.

Ever.

Mom asked Dad excitedly, "See your date quick!"

Dad turned his yogurt cover over and said, "Mine is 23 ..."

Pause ...

What?

OMG!

23???

That's 1994.

Your birth year!

ZAP!!! ZAP!!! ZAP!!!

It's YOU. All YOU!

Mom grabbed Dad's yogurt tub to check the numbers for herself.

23/12/20  stared back at her.

23 - your birth year 1994

2 times 21

Not only that but the numbers 22:22 was a further confirmation.

Why, that's a clear 44.

You ... all YOU.

All You, Daniel.

Mom knew it was You all along ... otherwise things would not have been so smooth ... still, it's so much nicer to get solid confirmation all the way from Heaven.

That's just awesome!

Message received and understood.

Over to You, Son.

Love You,

Mom

Call 604 : HIDE AND SEEK

Hello Son,

It has been a crazy, crazy year this year.

This naughty RAT year ... has truly made its presence felt.

Who would have thought that a tiny and insignificant animal could make such a big fuss?

Like worldwide fuss???

And chaos??

Can't wait for this RAT year to disappear ...

Ox year next year had better stamp and crush all the rats out.

Daniel, thanks for always watching over us.

Mom knows You are right by her side every second of the day.

A week ago, You helped Mom to avoid what could have been an ugly incident.

Aunty Diana and the children were in the house.

Megan 9, Dylan 6 and Ryan 3.

Yup, that's how old the kids are now.

Your cousins.

It was evening time.

They were playing hide and seek.

Our master bedroom door was closed.

Like always.

So anyways, the kids were running in and out of the bedroom.

You could hear them shrieking with laughter in the bedroom.

Aunty Diana and Mom were just right outside in the living room.

Mom kept hollering, "Come out from the bedroom ... there's an iron there ... come out."

Did You hear that?

There's an iron there, Mom said.

We have been living in this condo for the past 20 over years, and since the children came, they have been going in and out of your parents' bedroom now and then ... but never has you mother tell them not to go into the bedroom because of an iron.

That was the first time.

Why it came out from her, she didn't know then ... but Mom kept repeating, "There's an iron there, come out here ... "

"Did yall hear me??? I said, there's an iron there ... Come out, don't play in the bedroom ... Come out, I say ..."

The children would run out ... and moments later .. run back into the bedroom again.

Hide and seek ... where else can you hide?

Our place is only that big.

The other 2 rooms were not that inviting ... with a lot of stuffs in the rooms.

It was about 7 pm in the evening.

The children were there for about 2 hours ... running in and out of the bedroom ... stopping to watch cartoons for a bit and continued with their hide and seek ...

It was time to go home.

Mom flopped herself down on the sofa.

Dad said he was going to take a shower.

It had been a long day.

Paw Petrol was still on the TV.

Hmmm ...

What's the fascination with this Paw Petrol anyways?

Ryan has Chase, Zuma (and what have you), bedsheets and sandals of Paw Petrol.

Eye roll.

Ah, too tired to roll her eyes.

Let's just shut them, and take a rest.

Before long, Dad came out of the shower.

He went into the bedroom.

Mom heard Dad say, "Why is it so hot in here?"

Pause.

What???

Mom sat right up.

OMG ...

Darn darn darn ...

Don't tell her the iron is still on.

Mom forgot to switch off the iron when she used it in the morning.

You must have seen your mother sprinted to the room.

True enough.

The switch of the iron was still on.

OMG.

Quickly, Mom switched it off.

Oh, the heat around the ironing board.

The children were just here ... playing in the bedroom ... and it's not like we have a big bedroom ... they could have easily ...

No, no, no ... don't go there ... thank God nothing happened.

Mom texted Aunty D and told her, "OMG, the iron was still on in the bedroom ... I was ironing a shirt in the morning and I forgot to turn it off."

Aunty D said, "No wonder you kept saying the iron is there ... come out, the iron is there ..."

Mom replied, "The kids have been in and out of our bedroom each time they come over ... since they were born ... and never have I mention IRON to get them out ... OMG!"

You must have whispered to Mom, "Iron Ma ... the iron ... iron ... get the children out ... iron, Ma, iron ... ironnnnnn ..."

Gosh Son, Mom heard You loud and clear.

Mom herself couldn't understand why she kept repeating the iron word.

Normally, she would say, "Come out, don't play in the bedroom."

You know how the kids would mess up the bed.

So yeah ...

It was strange, but she found herself saying again and again, "come out, there's an iron there ..."

"My Son whispered to me," Mom said to Dad. "There's no way I would have said the iron is there ... I mean, when have I ever mentioned iron to the children in the first place ... OMG ... the iron was on since 7 am in the morning till now ... 7 pm ... and the ironing board is not the most steady structure in the world ... OMG ..."

Goose bumps.

You must have whispered to the children too ... not to go near the ironing board.

Mom's sure of that.

The ironing board is like ... 5 walking steps away from the door.

The children were running ...

Anything could have happened.

Shiver.

Aunty D sent her a string of OMG OMG OMG ...

Thank you Son, for watching over us.

That was clearly You shouting ...

Pause.

(Were You shouting?)

"Iron, Ma! Ironnn! Iron!"

Thank you, Daniel.

Mom will be more careful with the iron.

Been ironing for the past 30 over years and have never left the iron on before (for 12 hours) ...

Till - that - day.

Age, You think?

Nahhhh ...

No smart retorts allowed.

Shhh!

Love You so much, Son.

CALL 603 : FREE MARBLE

Hello Son,

Sunday Mass just ended.

Online.

Dad and Mom have not attended church since lockdown on March 18th till now.

There is a spike in Covid cases these past few days.

The Year of the Rat is certainly making its presence felt.

Bad, bad rats.

Dirty, germ-spreading rats.

Honestly, we can't wait for the Rat Year to be over.

Next year, will be the Ox Year.

It's Dad's year ... next year.

Hardworking, sturdy, reliable, trustworthy ...

These are the traits that would stand out next year.

No more spreading of rat's germs.

The world is in a definite need of the Ox's gifts of superhuman strength mind, body and spirit.

Yup, the 2021 Ox should just appear quickly and crush the 2020 Rats to microscopic pieces.

Would that be right to assume, Son?

Is this how it's gonna work?

The cycle just ... goes ... and we see and experience a different view at each ...

umm ...

angle ...

like on a Ferris wheel.

Anyway, that aside ...

Mom has been wanting to tell You about this incident which happened about 3 weeks ago.

Sept 14, to be exact.

A few days before Sept 14, Mom was looking to buy a marble.

It was for the children in school.

It was Revision week and one of the Science experiments was on FLOAT / SINK.

The teacher had gathered all the required items needed ... except for the marble.

We did not have one in school.

So anyway, Dad and Mom were at a nearby DIY store.

Aunty D came with us.

It was lunch hour.

Aunty D was with us.

After a quick lunch, we went to the DIY store.

Dad said we should find marbles at the shelves where they display rocks for home aquariums.

Oh yes, Mom seemed to remember seeing packets of marbles at that section.

To cut a long story short, there were no marbles in sight.

Not at that rock section, or anywhere else in the big, huge DIY.

Dad asked one of the workers and was told it was OUT OF STOCK.

Huh.

Why would be marbles be out of stock??

We walked out of the DIY store ... went down the escalator ...

and happened to stop by a Flowers & Gift shop.

Aunty D and Mom walked in ... and started browsing around.

Suddenly, Aunty D exclaimed, "Hey, how about this?" as she held out a metal looking round ball (slightly bigger in size compared to a normal marble).

Mom looked at it and thought that metal ball could pass as a marble

It would be good for the the SINK and FLOAT experiment.

Mom asked the lady in the shop for the price.

The lady said, "Only one?"

Mom replied, "Yes, only one."

There was only one in that shallow bowl anyway ... the rest were colourful rocks. It was the only ball in that bowl of rock, and that was how Aunty spotted it.

The shop lady informed, "RM10."

What??? RM10 for one small ball??

Mom started, "We only one this one ball? RM2 ok?"

Your mother's negotiation skills were not appreciated.

The shop lady showed her annoyance, both in her face and in her voice as she retorted,

"RM2?? Cannot buy anything with RM2 ... It's RM10 ..."

Mom tried her persuasion skills,

"There's only one here ... We only want one ... It's your last one ..."

(With RM10, you could get 2 packs of 20 marbles each).

What a rip off.

The lady almost snorted as she maintained her price.

Mom decided she did not want to have that marble that badly.

She wasn't that desperate.

The children will just have to imagine the marble s-i-n-k-i-n-g in the experiment.

Oh well ... your mother has had worse days.

This is not one of them.

We went home without the marble.

A few days later ...

Sept 14 ...

Mom was in school when she received a text from Aunty D.

Aunty D sent the above photo with an audio message at 4:59 pm :

"Is this weird ... suddenly this marble fell off from Megan's bed ...

and she doesn't know where it came from ..."

Pause.

Aunty D had said there were no marbles in the house. She did not buy marbles for her kids because they are a choking hazard.

Mom replied : OMG ... talk about weird ...

Aunty D texted back : Yah, it's really weird ... I asked her (Megan) and she said right, when she came home from school, she doesn't know how, but there was a marble in her shirt (uniform) pocket.

Aunty D continued : Of course when she went to school, there was nothing in her uniform pocket. OMG ... It's so weird ... and she didn't know what it was until just now, it rolled out from her pocket and onto the floor ... and I saw it ... and actually she said, it fell from the sky ...

Mom replied : OMG ... I mean, we were looking everywhere for a marble ... and you also know it right ... OMG I can't believe this.

Aunty D said, "That's what I told her also ... I was like OMG, where did you get that? And then she said why, what's that? I was like, this is a marble, where did you get that from? Teacher Lynn and I are looking for it ... looking for one marble ... and only one marble you know ... she was like, I don't know, it was suddenly in my shirt and it rolled out ... She will pass it to you later ...

Mom replied : OMG Unbelievable.

Aunty D sent another photo :

Aunty D texted : It's a real marble ... I have goosebumps. It's too funny ... really unbelievable ...

I mean, come on ...

How can ONE MARBLE suddenly appear???

And you remember you kept telling that lady, but I only want ONE ... I want ONE MARBLE only ... ONE ...

Mom replied, We were gonna buy ONE MARBLE for RM10 (which we didn't) ... This is like - FREE MARBLE

OMG FREE !!

Aunty D was like : Omilord ...

Mom said : How do we even explain this??

Son, can you explain this? Are You responsible for this? Were You trying to help Mom find a marble?

Mom can almost hear You say, "Here Ma, looking for a marble???"

Hard to believe.

Megan didn't even know what it was. Humph, children these days really do not play with marbles, and would not know one when they see one.

Of all the things Megan could have said, she uttered these, "It fell from the sky."

It just rolled out of her uniform pocket ...

Oh boy ...

CoinciDANS for sure ...

That evening, Megan came to the house to pass that MARBLE to mom.

Megan said, "Here is the marble, Teacher Lynn ... it's orange ... Daniel's colour ..."

OMG ...

The marble has an orange stripe in it.

Silence ...

There are no words to describe how your mother felt at that moment ...

ZAP ZAP ZAP ...

Thank you, Son ...

That was surely, surely You ...

There is no explanation.

Mom was looking high and low for a marble ... she couldn't find one ... and You brought one for her.

Simple as that.

A few days later, Mom was in school.

Aunty D came to fetch the kids.

Mom came to the car with Dylan and Ryan.

At the same time, Dad came to us and believe it or not ... he handed Mom a MARBLE ... and said, "Here's a marble ... it was on top of that cone."

Aunty D heard that.

Mom was like -- what??

Totally speechless ... staring at the marble in her hand.

The second time.

Her Son sent her that.

For reinforcement.

Orange cone on top of that ...

To make sure Mom really believes that the first one truly fell from the sky. You know your mother is just thinking and wondering and wondering and thinking if that marble ... the first one ... had anything to do with You ... Hard to believe doesn't mean she doesn't believe it ... but it's nice to have eviDANS.

And so You send her, a second one.

And Dad had to announce that, in front of Aunty D too ... because she is involved.

Gosh, the incidents that she must take notice, always happen in twos.

OMG Son ...

That was super-amazing ... how You make, and always make, your presence felt.

In all the 5 years that we have been operating the kindergarten at this place, we have never come across any marble of any kind ... anywhere ... and all of a sudden .. two appears. Just because Mom was looking for one ... and couldn't find one.

Not one.

And now she has two.

One fell from the sky ... and the other is on top of a cone ... an orange cone.

Like a hill ...

Like the peak ...

Something high ...

Heaven high ...

Thank you, Daniel, for zapping Mom.

Continue to very, very stay close.

We love You so very much.

Hugs and kisses,

Mom

CALL 602 : BIRTHDAY ZAP

Hello Son,

It's 6 am on a Friday morning.

Mom just has to call you today.

It has been amazing how You are making your presence felt each day.

Mom wishes she could just spend the days writing to You. There's just so much to say. However, because of school and work commitments, she has not been able to make her calls. Still, You zap her on a daily basis. You are in Mom's thoughts each and every waking moment.

There is not a second that You are not on her mind.

Yesterday, June 25 ... was your mother's birthday.

Mom got up early in the morning, as usual.

Nothing unusual about that.

She checked her handphone and found one text message waiting for her.

It was from M, an old friend from London days. We do not keep in touch frequently but every festive season, such as Chinese New Year, Christmas, and her birthday, M would send a greeting text.

The text was sent at 0051 June 25.

That was the first text Mom received on her on birthday.

Mom looked at the time 0051 ...

and saw a 4 immediately.

Mom clicked on the text and paused ...

to see this following image that M had sent her.

A frown appeared between her her brows.

Hmmm, of all the birthday images M, or anyone else for that matter, could have sent ...

he - had - to - send --- this???

Mom read ... and re-read the print ...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYNN!!

LOVE MORGAN FREEMAN

AND I BET YOU READ MY NAME IN MY VOICE!

Hmmm.

Pause.

Longer pause.

Is there a message there for her?

Perhaps it was still very early in the morning, but honestly, Mom did - not - get - it.

Until ... she started to type a reply.

He he ... thanks M (party emoji).

Why morgan free (and the ZAP happened right there!) man? (puzzled emoji)

(0504 am)

OMG ...

Oh boy ...

How could she have missed that???

FREE ...

Mom re-read the bottom print :

And I bet you read my name in my voice.

Pause for that line to sink in.

OMG Son ... Mom so read and so heard YOUR NAME in that voice.

FREE ...

You in your pink FREE t-shirt. Photo taken in Lourdes, France in September 2019, about 4 months before You left us. Aunty D had come to visit us and she had brought a new PS4 for you from the family. We were in Lourdes for 25 days. Your story is in Orange Dot Blog - Mom has yet to finish the ending. A beautiful ending. Jesus and Mother Mary made sure of that.

It was amazing.

Her Son had sent her a birthday greeting all the way from heaven.

A text buzz came in. It was M sending her a reply.

Can be anybody. You want donald trump?

Mom stared at Trump's image for a bit and decided ...

Nah, no message there.

It had to be FREEman.

Hehehe.

You must have whispered into M's ears as he was picking an image.

So that was the ZAP that started Mom's day on June 25.

Her birthday.

Before long, she was receiving some texts from the family.

(Flashback : A week earlier)

Last Saturday, we celebrated Mom's birthday with the family (Dad, Aunty D, Aunty C, Grandma, and the kids). We decided to celebrate earlier because Aunty C would not be around on June 25 (yesterday), and it so happened, Grandma would be having her mahjong friends over at her place too so Grandma would not be free either.

So, we had an early celebration last Saturday.

After a nice lunch, the family brought Mom to TrollBead.

We spent more than 2 hours choosing and going through the beads for a bracelet.

Dad and Ryan sitting quietly in a corner ... waiting for us to make up our minds.

Grandma and Aunty C on the right, with the sales girl at cashier counter.

The bracelet was a present from the family.

Grandma insisted that Mom should have a TrollBead bracelet.

Aunty C has one.

Aunty D has one.

Even your sister, Justine, has one.

And so, your mother must have one too, according to Grandma.

Also, you get one free bead on your birthday month.

Mom did not think much of the free bead then ... because it's not uncommon for retail shops to have promotion like that for birthday months.

Get something free on your birthday month.

So anyway, Mom finally decided on the above beads.

Each one has a nice meaning to it.

She has been wearing the bracelet every day since.

(Back to June 25 yesterday)

So, where was Mom?

Ah, yes.

She was receiving some texts from the family chat.

Birthday greetings from the family.

Mom sent a reply (7:10 am) :

....  Thanks very much also for the trollbead bracelet. I have a stone of wisdom, blanket of love, star of courage, ring of uniqueness and one FREE magical looking bead. It's unlike anything I have ever owned ...

It was only then, that the FREE bead zapped Mom ...

Don't you roll your eyes, Son ...

Yup, Mom only got zap zap zapped ... after the Morgan Freeman text.

Oh gosh, it felt so nice.

Absolutely wonderful.

Your mother felt like she was floating.

Now it made sense.

She has one FREE bead.

How did she not get it before?

No wise remarks, please! Shhhhh.

Seriously, she is carrying with her one FREE bead everywhere she goes now.

OMG ...

How amazing is that?

You certainly know how to make your presence felt in the most awesome way, Son.

Serious.

Serious.

Seriously.

ZAP ZAP ZAP!

Thank you, Daniel.

Mom appreciates it very much ...

the effort You make each time to remind her that You are always near, brings a lump to her throat.

Sniff ...

We miss You so very much.

More than words can say.

Beyond the realm of human expression.

Pause.

You get the drift, don't You, Son?

Good.

So anyway ... back to Mom's story about her birthday on June 25 yesterday.

Dad and Mom were in Gardens Mall about 9:30 am.

We were enjoying our nice cuppa coffee at San Francisco and sharing a breakfast set when Mom received a text.

It was from Aunty D.

There was an audio by Baby Ryan.

(unable to upload at the time of this Call)

Awwwww.

May the good Lord bless You too, Ryan. :D

How incredibly delightful.

The voice of an angel.

So very very cute.

Mom played the audio several times at the cafe.

Volume was at max.

Dad was grinning away.

Mom checked the time the audio was sent ... 9:38.

She smiled to herself.

But of course.

It had to be a ZAP time.

The song was for your mother.

How could it not be a ZAP time?

9:38.

That's easy.

2144 ...

ZAP ZAP ZAP!

All your Angel numbers just stood out to stare at your mother in the face.

Fascinating!

You were definitely with your parents.

Thank you, Daniel for reminding us, that You are always with us.

As Mom was saying ...

your parents were at the mall because they needed to go to the book store to get some supplies.

School is reopening on Wednesday, July 1st.

Yikes!

Super Yikes!

After the 3 months lockdown, it sure felt uncomfortable just thinking about going back to work.

Sigh ...

Isn't there anyway we could survive comfortably ...

heck, luxuriously ...

without having to work?

Surely, there must be a way ...

Oh well ...

let's not get side tracked. Sleep on it, will You?

So, as Mom was saying, Dad and her were at the mall to get school supplies.

By noon, we were done.

We came back to the condo, to pick Aunty D with the 3 kids.

They were all ready, waiting for their outing.

We were supposed to go for lunch.

Reaching the condo ...

Dad announced, "Your cake arrived. From Justine ..."

Awww Jus.

A cake??

Your sister is so very busy in the hospital, and she took time to send Mom a cake.

Hugs and squeeze to your beautiful sister.

She shouldn't have ...

Meanwhile, the delivery man was at the condo.

Dad had arranged for Aunty D to collect the cake from the delivery guy.

The card that came with the cake.

Awwwwww.

What heartwarming feeling.

We reached the condo, picked up Aunty D and the kids, and soon we were driving out again.

In the car, we decided to go to Bangsar Village for lunch.

At the Bangsar mall ...

we browsed around in MPH ...

then at Toys R Us ...

before heading towards a Chinese restaurant for lunch.

At the entrance of the restaurant ...

Mom approached the girl at the entrance, to have her temperature taken.

As Mom was jotting down on the list of customer's details, there was a column that says "Time In."

Mom casually asked the girl in front of her,

"What is the time now, please?"

The girl glanced at her watch and replied, "12:48 ..."

You must have seen your mother's face broke into an immediate beam.

But of course ...

12 48???

Why, that's so clear ...

12 12

2121

ZAP ZAP ZAP!

Mom couldn't wait to tell Dad.

"Twenty-one, two times ... Omg, my Son really wants to make sure I know he's right here celebrating my day with me ..."

Just when Mom thought her day couldn't get any better than it already was ...

Yup, all kidding aside.

She was having an AMAZING day!

Our orders came.

Aunty D and Mom enjoyed their noodles in soup with dumplings.

Dad enjoyed his dry, spicy noodles with dumplings.

Aunty D ordered a plate of simple fried rice with eggs for Dylan and Ryan.

The fried rice was delicious.

Short grain, glistening with mixture of scrambled eggs and chopped spring onions.

Truly, yummy for the tummy.

Mom and Dad posing for a photo here.

Aunty J commented (in the family chat) that the bowl is gigantic.

Haha.

That's just regular size.

So anyway, after lunch ...

we were walking back to the entrance of the mall when Dad said, "Take a look ..."

Dad pointed.

Oh Wow.

ZAP ZAP ZAP.

Father's Day decoration.

Father's Day last Sunday.

Mom said happily, "See? Son 21 ..."

Amazing.

You are just everywhere, aren't You, Daniel?

We were on the way home soon.

To take a rest ...

It was also Baby Ryan's nap time.

We would be going out for dinner in the evening.

Hehe ... celebration is all about FOOD.

Grin.

At home, Dad and Mom were resting before the TV ...

The BIG BANG THEORY was on.

Big Bang is always on as a background sound in the condo.

Alright, to be fair ... FRIENDS too.

BIG BANG from Season 4 to 12 ... has been repeated again and again.

Haha ...

Your mother would have liked to tune in to TWO AND A HALF MEN too but for some reason, the show is not on NETFLIX.

Oh well ...

BIG BANG for now ...

As You know, Mom likes to have some kind of sound at home.

Silence is just too --- loud.

(Fast-forward to 7 pm.)

It was dinner time.

Dad said our reservation was at 7:30 pm.

The restaurant is nearby.

10 minutes away by car.

Off we went to the restaurant.

Dad, Mom and Megan in our car, whilst Aunty D, Uncle C, Dylan and Baby Ryan in their own car.

At the restaurant, we were shown to our table.

Dad made the orders.

There was a 50% promotion for crabs.

How divine.

We ended up ordering 2 different crab flavours.

One was chilly crabs and the other steamed crabs with egg white and ginger.

As we were waiting for our food, a text buzzed in.

It was one of our parents from school.

She sent Mom this photo.

Mom glanced at the time the text came in.

19:44

Mentally, she broke down the number to

844

and then to

44 44

Your angel numbers.

Smile.

Nice.

Yet, something was missing -- the overpowering ZAP feeling was not quite there.

Mom looked at the photo again.

Hmmm ...

Orange ...

Your colour ...

Okay ...

Alright ...

She didn't quite feel the zap or the zing then ...

Grimace.

Sorry Son ... perhaps the connection was blurr.

She didn't get it.

So anyway, Mom quickly forgot about the cat when the first dish of crabs came to the table.

Shortly after, the second crab dish arrived.

That's Aunty D with Dylan on the left and Ryan on the right.

We were enjoying our crabs when another text buzzed in.

It was from a friend from Hong Kong.

We had met whilst Mom was doing her Bar exams in London.

Her Hong Kong friend had sent her 2 greeting images.

Mom clicked on the top image to enlarge it.

Raising her eyebrows, she found herself staring at the enlarged image in her handphone screen.

OMG ...

What???

Another cat?

Strange ...

Pause.

Weird ...

Very weird.

What are the chances?

CoinciDANS?

How?

Why?

What's the connection?

Mom checked the first cat photo to compare.

Hmmm.

Both cats kinda looked similar. Orange brown in colour.

Mom took a glimpse at the time the 2nd cat image was sent.

20:11

That was a clear 4.

Hmmm.

Your angel number all right.

Still, Mom did not feel the intense ZAP connection ... yet.

She clicked on the second image and this popped up.

Mom looked at it and thought to herself ...

A mirror?

The time of the image was 20:12.

That's 21, 2 times.

21 21

YOU ... all YOU.

Mirror ...

What's that about?

Anything there? Your mother found herself thinking hard.

At the time of writing this line, Mom asked Dad,

"Is there a connection between Daniel and a mirror?"

Dad said with a laugh, "Well, he was always looking into a mirror to check his hair ..."

Haha ...

Grin.

Okay.

Still, something was not quite right.

A small piece of the puzzle was still missing.

It wasn't the same heart-stopping, overwhelming ZAP ZAP ZAP.

She was missing something ... but what???

It was until we were in the car on the way back home, when she finally felt that ZAP.

Omg ...

It was awesome ... when the connection from Mom on earth down here to You all the way up there in Heaven, clicked.

Mom had asked Dad, "Is there a connection between Daniel and a cat? Any incident that happened involving him and a cat?"

Dad exclaimed, "Don't you remember ... when we were on holiday in Kuantan ... that holiday house that my mother arranged for us to stay in ... whilst waiting for the owner to bring us the key, Justine and Daniel found a cat ... and he had decorated the cat with leaves ... remember?"

Pause.

A knowing smile slowly escaped her.

Oh yes ...

Of course ... the CAT incident.

Ha ha ha ...

Mom broke into fits of laughter as she received total recollection.

Yes yes.

The cat ...

Come to think of it.

The cat was a similar cat (orange brown in colour, if she remembers correctly) -- it was lazing on the ground and minding its own business when Justine and You found it ... the cat was totally not moving ... before long the both of you were amusing yourselves by plucking leaves from a nearby plant and slowly arranging the leaves on the cat's body.

And the cat allowed that ...

Hahaha.

It was quite a sight.

Dad said, "I think that photo is somewhere in the house ..."

Oooh ...

What a treasure.

Thanks Son, so very much, for being with Mom on her birthday.

From first thing in the morning, till night ...

Your presence was powerfully felt.

The connection is so clear and strong.

You are right beside Mom, she knows.

This is the cake that Justine sent.

Dylan on the piano.

Father's Day photos taken last Sunday 21st.

All of us were wearing rainbow ties.

Yes Son ...

Rainbow ...

Like Somewhere Over The Rainbow ...

That day was 21 too ...

You were definitely with us on Father's Day.

Will stop here for a bit, Son.

It has been amazing talking to You on this long distance call.

Take care Son.

Tell Jesus and Mother Mary that Mom says hello.

Watch over Justine and your family.

Remember to find a way to help Mom get out of work ...

Muah.

Hugs and kisses.

Mom
