CALL 620 : FREE FACIAL

Hello Son,

Sunday, May 8 (Mother's Day)

Dad, Mom and Grandma went to the mall at 1 pm.

We had a really awesome Mother's Day dinner the night before (Call 619) and today, Grandma and Mom were going for a facial.

Compliments of Aunty C.

Your aunt C apparently bought this facial package way back in 2014 (for like 6 + 1 treatments) and have been slow in using them up. So anyway, Aunt C had one more left on her package and that would be for Grandma.

In other words, one free facial for Grandma.

Mom would pay for her own facial.

That's the plan.

Aunt C had already made the appointments.

We couldn't do the facials together.

They were quite booked-up.

The only available time slots were 2 pm and 4 pm.

Mom took the 2 pm slot, as Grandma wanted to shop around first.

Anyway, Grandma, Dad and Mom went to the facial salon together at about 1:30 pm just to check and reconfirm the appointments.

The therapist / manager who attended to us took out Aunty C's file.

After looking through the folder, the manager said, that the treatment is NOT suitable for Grandma, it's more appropriate for Mom.

Oh ...

Oh okay ...

Alright ...

Sure ...

You must have seen a big smile forming in your mother's face.

Mom would be taking the FREE  treat instead.

Smile some more.

Thanks Son.

Of course, Mom will still be paying for Grandma, it's just that THAT was symbolic.

ZAP ZAP from heaven.

Then, the manager continued, there are 2 more treatments under Aunt C's program.

One for neck and the other for eye.

Oh ...

Mom sent a text to Aunt C and told her about that, and your aunt insisted that Mom just use them up.

Ooooohhhh ...

A facial treat plus a neck and eye treatment for Mom.

All FREE.

ZAP ZAP ZAP

from her Son all the way from over the rainbow.

Thanks Son.

That was a nice treat for Mom for Mother's Day.

Mom enjoyed the pampering and the facial, neck and eye massages very much.

Fast forward ..

Mom was done at 4 pm.

Grandma was at the salon already, waiting for her turn.

After Grandma went into the facial room, Mom went to the counter to ask for Grandma's treatment payment.

The counter girl said, "There is a 50% discount today for 1st timers. The usual price is RM488. So today, is RM244."

OMG, what savings.

We did not know that.

244

Is that not ...

44   2 times?

Mom had to hide a smile.

A special treat for Grandma too.

Thanks Daniel.

ZAP ZAP ZAP.

So Grandma's facial would finish at 6 pm.

Meanwhile, Dad took Mom to a nice Japanese BBQ restaurant for a special Mother's day lunch.

The treats are still flowing in.

Not ending yet.

Haha.

That's Mom's bag. We had a whole long table to ourselves.

Dad is going through the menu. All You Can Eat.

From the buffet.  The triangular samosas are awesome.

Miso soup.

See how much Dad ordered?

Fried rice from buffet.

Grill Grill Grill

We ate so much fish ...

and meat. Burp!

Udon from buffet.

What a nice lunch.

Thumbs up.

Your sister sends her love.

Jus sent a photo of her dinner that evening.

Similar to what we were having.

Edamame and (but air-fried) chicken.

 And her blended health drink.

Mixed berries, milk and yogurt.

Mom has asked Dad to get Mom

a blended jet too.

Looks easy to use.

And clean especially.

FINITO. We finished up all the food that was stacked up earlier.

It was almost 6 pm.

When we finally left the restaurant, Mom asked Dad to show her the receipt.

She took a peek, and held her breath.

Mom paused mentally as she looked at the numbers ...

and then ...

ZIG ZAG FLASH!

14697

14   697

14   22

14   4

1 Am Number 4   ...  Yup, Number 4.

ZAP ZAP ZAP!

It was all your mother could do to stop herself from skipping away from the restaurant.

Hehe.

Grin.

How you make your presence felt all the time is just beyond Mom.

Thank you Jesus, for the amazing connection.

Keep the zaps coming, Son.

It was about 6:15 pm.

Mom called Grandma.

Grandma would have finished her facial at 6 pm.

Yup, Grandma has. Grandma said she enjoyed her facial treat. By the way, the therapist said Grandma's skin is good considering her grandma age.

That's nice to hear, isn't it?

Mom asked Grandma if we were ready to go home.

Your grandmother said,

"I can't find the 678 printer ink.

I need them. I have my church things to print out ..."

Mom asked Dad about it, and Dad said, "I've told her to get it from AEON."

Hmm, obviously Grandma couldn't find it.

Never mind.

So Mom told Grandma that Mom (and Dad) would get it for her, and Grandma was to meet Dad and Mom at Village Duck restaurant (for Grandma to have dinner).

So off Dad and Mom went to AEON, on the 3rd floor.

Dad asked the boy at the computer counter for a printer ink #678.

The boy led us to a display of ink catridges.

He asked, "Which do you want?"

There were 2 kinds apparently.

#678 Black and #678 Colour.

Picture from the internet

Mom called Grandma again ... to ask which cartridge to get.

Grandma said, "Get both. Black AND colour."

So we got both.

It wasn't until we were walking away from the store, that Mom suddenly felt a ZAP.

OMG.

678  2x

21  2x

Oh boy, no wonder Grandma couldn't find it, eventhough Dad had given her directions to the store.

Mom was meant to see those numbers.

21 ... twice.

Why, that's a clear ...

Hellllooooo, Ma ...

all the way from Heaven.

Well ...

Hi back to you, Daniel ...

from all at home.

As we were walking over to Village Duck to meet Grandma,

Mom stopped by Neal's Yard to get a night cream.

Dad snapped this photo to send to Jus.

At Village Duck, we spotted Grandma.

She was lining up.

The queue to go in was quite long ... about 5 to 6 people in front.

As Dad and Mom had already taken a late late lunch, we were too full, and would just have a drink. So we went to another eatery that was not so busy, for Grandma to have her dinner.

Half an hour later, we were on our way home.

Aunty Jess (from the States) had ordered flowers for Mother's Day for Grandma, Aunty D and Mom via delivery. At the same time, Aunty D had also ordered the same Mother's Day flowers for Grandma and Mom. So, Aunty C was at home to receive the bouquets.

Each bouquet came with a box of

coloured chocolate-coated

marshmallows and strawberries.

Grandma holding Hello Kitty box

of cupcakes.

Homemade by Mom.

Haha.

Look at all the flowers. So very pretty.

This cute little orchid plant is from Aunty C.

Mother's Day was coming to an end.

What a day we have had.

Truly, a wonderful day.

You would have thought that that was all.

But noooooo ....

Mom was in for another ZAP suprise!

Time for bed.

So, Mom was in bed.

It was barely 5 minutes, when your mother suddenly sat up right.

You must have whispered to her.

Mom found herself asking Dad, "Did you take a photo of the car earlier?"

Yes, Mom did see Dad taking a photo of our car when we parked at this particular spot, at the mall, this afternoon. At the time, Mom did think it a bit strange why Dad was taking a photo of our parked car because that area was our territory, meaning we were always parking around that area, and there was no chance of us losing the car, or not being able to find the car. We usually park around that area. Why would Dad feel the need to take a photo?

Why, indeed ... (will be revealed later).

It's all part of the ZAP Plan. :D

So, Dad took a photo.

Mom asked Dad again, "Did you take a photo of the car just now at the mall?"

Dad said yes.

Mom asked where was it.

Dad handed his handphone to Mom.

Mom found herself scrolling through the photo gallery, not really sure what she was supposed to find, before she spotted the photo of the car.

Your mother zoomed in.

Pause.

Silence.

Your mother must have held her breath, before bursting out loudly.

OMG.

OMG.

OMG.

Our white car is parked in front of the RU 2080 dark blue car.

What?!

Mom couldn't believe her eyes.

No way.

OMG, Daniel.

Seriously???

RU 2080?

Decode : RU  4

As in : Are you number 4???

Mom is smiling broadly as she hears your reply.

I -- Am -- Number -- 4.

See the parking bay 0020.

I Am Number 4  (2X).

Not a coincidence.

What are the chances, seriously?

No chance.

Angel chance.

A true coinciDANz.

OMG ...

ZAP ZAP ZAP!!!

Everywhere we are, there you will be, Daniel.

We can feel you with us.

Yes, you are Number 4.

Thank you, Son, for always making your presence felt to us and for being near.

Will talk again.

Need to go now.

Watch over your sister.

xoxo

Call 619 : SALON PAS

Hello Son,

We celebrated Mother's Day yesterday (Sat) evening.

At hotpot restaurant.

Our first time to this place.

Waited more than an hour to get a table.

When we arrived, we were told we were number 2 on the waiting list.

That's why we waited.

Who knew it would take an hour and fifteen minutes to finally get a table?

But ... it was well worth the wait.

Plus, you sent us a zap.

Nice.

Here are some photos we managed to take whilst tucking in to our food.

3 soups : malat, pork bone & beauty soup (chicken and pumpkin)

Aunty D and Grandma

Aunty C

Mom's bowl. The soup was amazing. Mixture of beauty and malat.

The beauty soup tasted like a weak campbell chicken soup.

Dad on extreme right.

It's hotpot style.

Steamboat way.

So the waiters would come over to bring the individual sets

of meat and vegetables as pre-ordered by Aunty C.

At one point during dinner, one of the waiters came over to the table

with a tofu dish and asked Aunty C, "Has this come to the table already?"

Aunty C and Mom replied, "Yes ..."

The tofu dish came much earlier and we had immediately put it all into the hot pot.

To make space for the tiny table for 9 of us.

6 adults and 3 children.

He asked again, "This came already?"

Aunty C said, "Yes yes ..."

Mom also repeated, "Yes, came already."

The boy said, "Never mind, just take this ..."

Pause.

Say what?

As in FREE?

Hahaha.

But of course.

It's our family dinner.

You would definitely want to make your presence felt.

Especially when it's a special Mother's Day dinner, on top of that.

Our FREE dish.

The day before, on Friday evening, Mom had gone to the pharmacy.

To get a salon pas.

Not sure why her shoulders were aching.

She had bought a pack of 10 patches a few days back, and had used them all.

Each time, dad had helped mom to put 2 patches of the salon pas just below her left shoulder.

So, Mom was at the pharmacy.

Your mother was looking for a 10 patches salon pas box, but apparently there were no more.

They only had 40 and 20 patches.

40 patches is a tad too dramatic, don't you think?

So mom took the 20 patch box, and went to the cashier.

The last time Mom used one of this was like, a year ago.

So anyway, at the cashier, a second girl at the same counter,

presented your mother with these 2 packs.

The girl said, "Two packs for you. Free."

Free ???

Pause for the words to sink in.

Say what?

The cashier repeated, "It's salon pas. Free two packets for you."

Oh boy, Son.

Your mother has a shoulder ache and you're sending two packs of salon pas to her?

Smile.

What would you think of next?

The cashier said, "Eight ringgit."

Eyebrows raised.

The other day, your mother paid RM3.50 for a pack of 10.

Eight ringgit? (RM8)

8???

Decode : 44

Mom took a closer look at the receipt and saw :

21.

Like 3x.

Omg.

ZAP ZAP ZAP.

Her angel numbers.

That's you, alright.

Thank you, Daniel.

You really do know what's going on down here, don't you?

Mom made cupcakes for Mother's Day.

This would be your mother's second time at attempting cupcakes.

She used the easy way.

Ready mixed packet.

Betty Crocker.

First batch of 6 turned out crispy on the top.

Quick, put on the frosting to cover the flaws.

Cheese vanilla frosting.

Don't play.

Dad adjusted the temperature and

second batch of 4 turned out pretty nice.

We have that icing piping thingy for the frosting,

but Mom just used a butter knife to spread the frosting.

Don't forget the rainbow sprinklers.

Please wish Mama Mary

a Happy Mother's Day

from all of us back home.

Need to go change now.

Dad is taking Mom out for lunch.

After lunch, she is going for a facial.

Watch over Justine and the family.

Stay close and keep the zaps coming, Daniel.

Hugs,

Mom
