Hello Son,
Sunday, Sept 21
This morning, Mom received
a text from Aunty J (USA).
So, to update ...
Uncle David (Aunty J's father-in-law)
passed on Friday 19th (USA time).
Aunty J sent some photos of the
Senior Home that her parents-in-law
are staying.
A week ago on Sunday, says Aunty J,
they (Aunty J, Husband Uncle C and
Grandma) visited Uncle David and
Aunt Elaine in the Seniors' Home
in University Village.
On Monday, U. David was transferred
to the skilled nursing home.
Aunty J (USA) said (7:17am) :
Craig and Elaine
were surprised he said he wanted my
rosary. I thought I heard wrongly,
so I asked 2 more times and all 3 times,
he said yes, he knew what the rosary
was and that he wanted it. So I went to
my purse to get it, and said a little prayer
to myself before giving it to him. Elaine
was like ... you do know you are Jewish,
right ... and he said, yes ... And he was
trying to put it over his head ... and when
he said he wanted to live with us, we could
barely comprehend him and Elaine said,
you want to live with the kids, and he said
yes, with a big smile. He had a sense of
humor right to the last day when we spoke
to him on Sunday.
Mom (7:25am) :
Wow. Thank goodness you carry
your rosary with you. At the time of our
passing, we want Mother Mary beside us.
He said he wanted to live with you and Craig
... that's his way of telling you both he loves
yall very much.
Aunty J (USA) (7:27 am):
I don't know how to explain this part, but
on Friday Sept 19, at 5:29, I texted Craig
from school, to call his mom to check on
them both, and when he called, she was
just receiving news from the skilled nursing
facility that David had passed at 5:21.
Mom (7:30am) :
Clearly, an angel whispered in your ear, Jess.
5:21 pm. 21 ... that's an angel number.
521 = 8 = 44 ... more angel numbers.
Perfect angel time.
No matter how u look at it.
Aunty J (USA) (7:35am):
Clearly? I didn't know about that.
(laughing emojis)
Mom (8:07am) :
And clearly, an angel (no prizes for
guessing who) whispered into mine to
write that down, bc I wouldn't have
come up with that line all on my own.
That was in the morning.
On Sunday, 21st.
Your 21st.
Later around noon time,
Aunty D texted and asked
if she should buy petai.
Petai promotion.
BUY 1 FREE 1.
Mom said OK.
Aunty D bought
5 FREE 5.
Grin.
Here's a photo of what sambal petai
looks like in Mom's food blog.

At 1417, Aunty D sent Mom a text and a
few audios.
Aunty said, Ryan's catechism teacher
asked him to find out about the story
of Daniel.
Pause.
It is your 21st today.
His catechism teacher asked him to
do a story on DANIEL??
Hahaha.
Good one, Son.
Happy (how many months has it been?)
Anniversary.
Aunty D continued, "He asked me what's
the story of daniel? I was like ... o man ...
I can't remember ... have to ask teacher
lynn ... and i asked why wud your (catechism)
teacher ask that ..."
Mom thought loudly and with a
knowing smile, "It's your 21st."
Aunty D said, "Awww ... he (you) says
remember me ... and gave us free petai."
Of all days, it had to be on the 21st,
that the teacher gave Ryan homework to do
and he had to research the story of Daniel.
Chuckle.
ZAP ZAP ZAP!!
There's something wrong with Mom's gmail
account. Unable to send photos from Handphone
to gmail for the blog.
Will have to check with Dad.
Okay Son.
Thank you for reminding us that you are always
very near and watching over us all the time.
We celebrate with you on your 21st.
Exciting time in Heaven at the moment, huh.
Charlie Kirk arrived on Sept 10.
Uncle David on Sept 19.
Over to you, Daniel.
xoxo
