Yesterday, Friday 19th ...
Mom spoke to you on
Call 770 : Erika Kirk
Later around noon time,
Dad and Mom went to the mall.
We were gonna get some toiletries
for our Europe trip next week.
At the mall, Dad and Mom
went to do pedicure first.
LOL.
Yup.
Walked in.
No prior appointment.
Thankfully, they had vacant
slots and so your parents were
attended to immediately.
After our pedicure,
Dad suggested lunch.
You remember, right, that your
parents are on a carnivore diet ...
and the only place that serves
all-you-can-eat-meat at an affordable
price is at this BBQ Grill and
Shabu-Shabu restaurant.
It was 2:15 pm when we were
at our table. We have 2 hours
as usual to enjoy our lunch.
Dad ordered 3 trays of beef
and 2 of prawns.
The trays arrived swiftly.
Along with a plate of
fried chicken.
Every order comes with ONE
plate of fried chicken (for 2 pax).
Dad and Mom devoured our
chicken wings and drummets.
Yup, a pair each.
Yummy!
Shortly after, a waiter came and placed
a SECOND plate of fried chicken
on our table.
Mom threw a glance at Dad.
Dad returned Mom's look with
a raised eye-brow.
Mom said, ""Let's just leave
the plate here first. He may came
to take it back ..."
We continued enjoying our beef and prawns.
After a short while, some 20 minutes or so,
the SECOND plate of fried chicken was still
there ...
staring at your parents in their faces.
Mom asked lightly, "Is that a FREE
plate from Son?"
Dad finally took a piece.
Mom reached out for her mobile
and snapped this below photo.

Every table only gets ONE plate.
So ...

Mom found herself smiling.

4 pm, Dad and Mom went to the
pharmacy to get their supplies.
Then we headed back home.
That evening, Mom went back to
school to send Teacher A home (after
last child has gone home).
Mom was driving out from our condo,
as usual.
Nothing out of the ordinary happened.
She stopped at the lights.
Waited for it to go green, before driving on.
Suddenly, Mom saw this car with the
loud numbers.
Loud ... because it was calling out
to your mother.
Mom reached out for her handphone
and quickly clicked to take a photo.
