CALL 621 : THE CALL

Hello Son,

Saturday, May 21

Dad, Mom and Singapore Aunt went up to Kuantan

to visit your grandmother (Dad's mom).

We went there for the weekend.

Drove up on Saturday 21st.

Yes, your 21st.

You left us to live with Jesus and Mother Mary on 21-Jan-2010.

It was a 3 hour slow and easy drive.

Dad and Singapore aunty were catching up in the front.

Mom was listening to some oldies at the back seat.

Pause.

Yes, you heard right.

Oldies.

As old as in ... umm ... Skeeter Davies.

Grandma used to play that tape many moons ago.

The picture above of Skeeter Davies is the exact cover that Mom remembers.

Yup, Mom still remembers the lyrics to some of the songs and replies.

He has to go / He has to stay.

Tell Laura I love her / Tell Tommy I miss him.

Please help me I'm falling /  I can't help you darlin', cos I'm falling too.

Oooh, by the way, Mom came across this video which is really, really cute :

Don't Cry Joni

Oh, check out this one too, with lyrics.

 Don't Cry Joni (lyrics)

Traffic was smooth.

We would be driving back to KL on Monday, 23rd, after a late breakfast.

So that was the plan.

That Saturday morning, Dad and Mom left the condo at 7:45 am.

We went to Bangsar to pick Singapore aunt.

At 8 am, as agreed the day before.

So anyway ...

We arrived in Kuantan a few minutes past 11 am.

Aunty H had bought breakfast for us.

Sungai Lembing Lai Fun

Nasi Dagang.

Dad, Aunt H, Grandma, Singapore Aunt.

The Lai Fun looks like this.

Dad and his brothers apparently used to eat lai fun when they were younger.

Mom had the nasi dagang.

As usual.

The rice and curry were super amazing.

As always.

After breakfast, everyone just chilled to catch up.

Mom sat in a corner, listening to her songs, and playing tetris.

Grin.

Now and then, Mom would just contribute to the conversation.

Haha.

At about 4:30 pm in the evening, we went to the park.

Grandma has not been walking much and Dad wanted her to exercise a bit before dinner.

Our ladies here aged 70 (back), 88 and 90 (front) years.

Huff and puff ...

Huff and puff.

Breathe in ...

Breathe out ...

Grandma is going strong at 90.

Western dinner.

On Sunday 22nd morning, Mom was scrolling through Google updates on her handphone, when she came across this link.

Mom read the words "What this girl saw in Heaven will give you ..."

Your mother did not need any further invitation.

She clicked the link immediately and went through the video.

What This Girl Saw in Heaven

(video)

After the video, Mom was like ... overwhelmed.

You must have heard your mother exclaimed when she saw the numbers on the title below the video.

The day the video was uploaded.

zooming in ...

April 21, 2022.     4 year old girl ...

Omg.

Seriously ...

Decode :

ZAP ZAP ZAP!!!

All your angel numbers.

It's almost always a 4 year old child.

4 years old.

4

4

4

That's the angel number.

How Mom came across this video she will never know.

It wasn't like she was looking for angel or heaven related videos.

She was merely checking the google updates as she usually does.

She remembers reading about Johnny Depp and his trial.

Then there was something on Kate Middleton.

And then, there was a recipe on some kind of cake.

Oh, and also updates on Austin Butler.

You are aware, are you not, that the ELVIS movie will be shown in cinemas on June 24?

June 24?

Which is June 25 over here in Malaysia.

Your mother's birthday.

What a treat for Mom. :D

So anyway, after those articles, this video just conveniently appeared in her view.

So random.

Mom was so meant to see it.

Amazing.

On top of that, the day before was your 21st ...

Heck, some parts of the world was still on 21st.

Like where this 4 year old girl is - USA - it was the 21st, when this story came to your mother's notice.

Mom sent the link to our family chat at 9:56 am with a short text.

We went out at noon for lunch.

A chicken rice shop nearby.

tofu in shoyu

steamed chicken and roasted pork

After lunch, we went to the mall.

To walk around.

Correction, sit ... at the mall ...

and watch who wants to pay for what.

More sitting -- at Starbucks. Dad and Grandma.

Shortly before 4 pm, we went back home -- to rest -- before dinner.

Haha.

It's an Asian thing.

Food.

And more FOOD.

Anyway, something interesting was about to happen.

We were all in the living room.

The television was on.

Singapore aunt was watching  a Chinese drama.

Aunty H was playing cards ... on her own.

Grandma was browsing through her papers.

Dad was going through handphone messages.

Mom was playing tetris.

Pause.

Excuse me, but tetris is good for hand-eye coordination.

And ... and ... don't forget, brain stimulation.

So anyway, we were all just doing our own thing ... and resting.

We would be going for dinner at 6 pm.

In 2 hours' time.

Mom soon noticed that her battery was going down low.

It was about 5%.

Dad said to charge it at the corner of the dining area.

Mom had to balance her handphone on top of a chair and a picture frame.

Mom left her handphone, and went back to chill on the sofa.

It was barely 10 minutes, when Mom's handphone rang.

Ring ring ring ...

Ring ring ring ...

Dad said, "Your call ..."

Yes, yes ... Mom heard, as she went to get her handphone.

To her surprise, her handphone was on the floor.

It must not have been stable at the position Mom left it just now.

Mom quickly picked up the handphone.

It was Aunt D.

On video chat.

Mom swiped to answer.

There was no one on the screen, only the view (background) of Aunt D's living room.

Then the screen went blank. The video call ended.

Mom stared at her handphone.

Her first thought was that Ryan might be playing with Aunt D's handphone.

Wow, Mom thought to herself ... her handphone had become unplugged from the charger, and fell to the floor, and she somehow received a call that alerted her ...

Did - you - call - Mom - to - tell - her - that - her - phone - was - on - the - floor?

Your mother couldn't help but wonder as she plugged her phone into the charger again, and tried her best to reposition it properly so that it does not fall off - again.

Slowly, Mom walked back to the sofa to Dad.

Mom said in low tones (for Dad's ears only),

"Omg ... you saw right ... I was charging my handphone ... and my phone fell to the floor, and the phone rang, to call me ... it must be Son ... to tell me that my hp is out of the charger ... we are going out for dinner in 2 hours' time, my hp would still be flat and not charged had it not been for the call ... OMG ..."

Mom sent a text to Aunty D (at 4:11pm):

"Just now ... at 15:54 pm ... I think Ryan played with your hp?"

Aunty D replied, "Let me ask him."

At this point, Ryan called mom's handphone (Aunt D must have asked him to).

Mom answered and asked,

"Did Ryan call Teacher Lynn just now?"

Ryan didn't quite answer that question, but started talking about something totally unrelated (can't remember what it was now). The call ended after a short series of bla bla bla.

So Mom sent an audio text to Aunty D :

"Because it's very weird ... I was charging the phone ...and the socket here is very high ... so my phone was balancing on a chair ... it was barely 10 minutes after I went away, the phone rang ... when I came to get it, the phone was on the floor ... which means, it came off from the socket ... it wasn't charging ... it just fell off on to the floor ... and I tried to answer, it was off ... it's just like the thing ringing to tell me that my phone has dropped to the floor, it wasn't charging ... is that weird or not? Especially this morning, whole morning I was reading about angels, and Jesus, and heaven and all these things ... "

Aunty D sent a series of hysterical laughing emojis.

Aunty D said, "You checked who called you that time?"

Mom replied, "It is your phone ... I checked ... that (1554) is the time, it is your phone ... "

Aunty D said, "Oh, but I don't have any thing here (her hp) to show that I called you, but I know he was holding my phone just now ..."

Mom replied immediately, "No, got got ... I have your record ... it's here ... it's 15:54 ... "

Mom explained, "You see the first one just now ... 15:54 ... it was to tell me that the phone was under the chair, it had dropped off from the charger ... you know what I mean, it's like to tell me that the phone had dropped down, it's not charging ... because later when I go out for dinner, my phone would not have been charged ... how weird is that?"

Mom explained further, "because the second one, is the one that I just talked to him ... but look at the first one 1554 ..."

Aunty D said, "But you see, I don't have that first one in my record ..."

Aunty D commented, "Ryan made a secret call? ... talked for 4 seconds?"

Mom replied, "The magic number." Ryan didn't talk actually ... there was no one there.

Mom said, "This morning I happen to see this ... before i sent to family.

21 ... 4 ... 4y old girl

Mom continued, "And our friend has to be involved at 1554 ..."

Secret Code

1545

555

Omg.

ZAP ZAP ZAP.

More hysterical laughing emojis from your aunt.

Then Aunt D said, "But how I'm wondering did he call without me knowing? U know I wouldn't have asked him, if you didn't ask me ..."

Mom replied, "That's the thing ... bc normally will have the missed video call ...Then I was puzzled why don't have ... bc the phone rang quite a bit ... and when I got the hp, the call was from you ... but when I swiped to answer ... there was no one there ... and then - cut."

Truly Daniel, you called Mom to tell her that her hp had come off from the charger.

Thank you, Son.

That evening, at 6-30 pm, Mom went to dinner with her handphone FULLY charged.

Hahahaha ...

The restaurant was full to the brim.

All 30 over tables were taken up.

Mom couldn't believe her eyes.

It was after all, only 6:30 pm.

Anyway, we had a nice dinner ... but Mom's mind was pre-occupied.

It's just so amazing how her son keeps reminding her that he's near.

Thank you Jesus.

Monday 23rd ...

We drove back after a late breakfast.

We dropped Singapore aunt in Bangsar, and then headed straight home.

It was about 3 pm.

That evening, Mom searched for that video again ... to watch it again on our big TV screen.

There was another video that caught her attention.

So after watching the 4 year old girl, Mom clicked on this video.

Heaven Is For Real.

The movie is based on a true story.

 Heaven Is For Real

 (video)

Before long, Mom saw this number 22 piercing into her view.

She found herself sitting right up.

Right after that, number 14 flashed across the screen.

As well as number 19 (if she remembers correctly).

All your mother's angel numbers.

Decode :

22 = 4

14 = I am Number 4

19 = 8 (44)

ZAP ZAP ZAP!!!

Mom receives and understands your message, LOUD and clear.

HEAVEN IS FOR REAL.

That's for sure.

It was so - heart-warming - to have this confirmed.

By - her - son.

Of course, your mother already knows and believe that heaven is for real (there is not a tiniest doubt about this) ... otherwise where would you be right now?

You are only on a different dimension.

With JESUS and MARY.

Heaven is just beyond the rainbow.

So to hear that this boy, Colton, talked about having pizza and mac and cheese in heaven (Mom checked out documentaries and interviews on this Colton boy after the movie) ... makes Mom so very happy ... because those are 2 of your most favourite food to enjoy.

So now we know heaven has pizza ... how about video games?

You were always good at video games.

Do you have video games in heaven, Daniel?

Someday, you will find a way to tell Mom.

She knows.

You will find a way.

Before Mom signs off, here are some photos for your fun viewing:

Mom went shopping with Grandma last Saturday.

Grandma's birthday is on June 1st ... and we will be having a big do on June 25th. Aunty J will be back from the States, and Justine too will be back with us for the celebration. So Grandma was looking for something unusual to wear for her birthday party.

Haha.

It's like Joseph and his technicolour dream coat.

What do you think?

The girl is pinning up a pattern at the back.

Ta- dahhh.

Grandma insists Mom try on one too.

Let's take a photo.

Mom did not get one in the end.

Grandma loves the rainbow cloak.

Grandma will be wearing it at the party.

Justine sent some photos of her and colleagues in costumes, celebrating Harvest Festival in East Malaysia.

Justine (second from left)

Aunty D says it's like a beauty pageant. Haha.

Back to work. Jus with the 2 peace signs.

Over to you, Son.

xoxo
