Hello Son,
(continue from Call 623)
Saturday June 4
So as Mom was saying,
Dad and Mom were on our way to the hotel in Putrajaya.
We would be spending the day with Aunt D and the children.
There are at the hotel for a weekend staycation.
This is the second time that they were staying at this hotel.
We arrived there about 11 am.
Dad and Mom went straight to the pool side.
Aunty D and the children were coming down to meet us.
They were watching TV in their room, whilst waiting for us.
Dad chilling on a deck chair.
Mom was in the water from 11 am till 3:30 pm.
When it was too hot at the infinity pool, she would relax
(like total flat out star sign) at the wading pool.
We were all having a really nice time.
Then, about 2 pm, there was a small incident that happened at the pool.
A little boy, possibly aged 4, tripped and hurt himself at the baby pool.
He was crying loudly.
His parents were on the other end of the pool.
Aunty D and Mom were chit-chatting at the deck chairs at the time.
We were nearer to him.
So Aunt D quickly hurried over to pick him up.
He had a nasty gash on his forehead.
Oh dear.
The father of the boy came running,
"What happened? You fell? I told you not to run ..."
So anyway, Aunty D would soon be helping them. She introduced herself and told them that she is a doctor. They must have been relieved to hear that. Thankfully, Aunt D had a hospital plaster (that sticks well) in the hotel room. Aunt D asked Megan to get it. The wound was apparently deep. The hotel manager soon came to the scene with a First Aid Kit. Aunt D cleaned up his wound. Megan came back with the plaster. Aunt D applied the plaster over the boy's cut. Your aunt then advised the parents to take their son to the nearest hospital to get the wound stitched up.
Dad sent a text to our family chat at 2:09 pm
with the photo above and the text :
"Dr Diana to the rescue.
Little boy jumped at the pool, fell and had a cut ..."
From Dad's angle.
So anyway,
shortly after the incident,
the hotel manager came over to Aunt D.
He presented a food container to your aunt and said,
"Thank you very much for your help just now."
Aunt D's response was like,
"Eh no need, no need, it's okay, no need for this."
Megan who was standing nearby, intercepted,
"But I want that ..."
Lol.
The manager asked, "What is your room number?"
Aunt D replied, "Three - three - zero - three ..."
The manager repeated, "3303?"
Your aunt confirmed, "Yes, 3303."
Mom listened.
Her mental calculation started.
There was something strange about
how this room number was being mentioned.
This was the second time that day.
About an hour earlier, Aunt D and Mom were
having some food nearby the pool side.
Mom had brought nasi lemak with sambal petai
for your aunt.
Oh, and a piece of fried chicken.

Half-way through our meal,
a hotel staff happened to walk by.
He stopped at our table, greeted us before asking,
"What is your room number?"
He probably wanted to check if we were house guests.
Anyway, Aunt D replied, "3303 ..."
The guy repeated, "3303?"
To which Aunt D said, "Yes, 3303 ..."
Now, don't you think it's strange that Mom
had to hear this room number 3303 mentioned
in this manner?
Like, it had to happen twice, for her benefit.
Plus, both times were repeated similarly.
Strange ...
Let's see ...
3303

ZAP ZAP ZAP!
Everywhere we are, there you'll be ...
So anyway,
it was fruit platter in a take-away box.
Mom's first thoughts :
FREE FRUITS???
FREE??
Pause to reflect.
But of course ...
Mom and Megan did not need any invitation.
We openly helped ourselves to the fruits.
Haha.
Munch. Much.
Ooh, the fruits were nicely chilled.
The watermelon was so refreshing.
