Hello Son,
We are on our last day of Raya break.
Day 5 of holiday.
Tomorrow, we will be back to school.
This morning, Dad and Mom went to a nearby cafe for breakfast.
Dad ordered his usual latte and Mom, the decaffeinated version.
Trying decaffeinated for the first time.
Bottom cup is Dad's. |
Dad took a photo and sent it to your sister J, asking her to guess which is decaffeinated.
Then Dad mentioned cryptocurrency ...
and umm, Mom tried her best to ask intelligent questions.
Don't you laugh.
Not long after, the waitress brought Mom's buttered croissant, with apricot and a slab of butter.
Mom asked if they had strawberry or marmalade, instead of apricot?
The girl said no, apricot is the only jam they have.
Oh well.
The girl brought Dad's American breakfast set shortly after.
Dad asked for chilli sauce and tomato sauce (for mom).
Yes of course, Mom was gonna be picking from Dad's plate.
Grin.
So anyway, we had our breakfast and our coffee.
Talked about the next chapter of our new project.
Our home renovation.
Our plans to travel.
After we were done, Dad made payment at the cashier.
Mom waited at the entrance of the cafe.
Dad came out and showed Mom the bill.
Your father said, "Sixty-six ... your number."
66 : Mom's birth year
66 : 21 (that's you)
Mom took a look at the receipt.
Mom said, "Oooh. LDG ..."
Lynn,
Daniel
Ummm, Glad ... ?
Your mother explained, "Well, I called Son yesterday ..." (Blog 617)
