Hello Son,
It's Sunday 22nd @ 0739 am.
and is wishing there is more carnivore bread in the fridge so she could have that for breakfast with two slabs of butter ...
Like yesterday.
Dad made those carnivore buns.
His carnivore buns are getting better and better each time.
They are so healthy for the body and so delicious. It's easier to have two slabs of butter with the buns ... otherwise if butter alone, Mom normally only takes one slab.
So yesterday evening, Saturday, the family met up to celebrate Ryan's birthday.
He's turning 9 years old on the 25th.
Here are some photos of our dinner together ...

Check out the flame.

Ryan took a few puffs to blow all the candles out.

The birthday boy placed the candles himself ... close together. From now on, we should do that ... and have a BIG flame.

May the good Lord bless you May the good Lord bless you May the good Lord bless RYAN-NNN May the good Lord bless you

The flame grew bigger when Ryan first blew on them. Lol.

Carnivore all the way. Mom's plate. We had beef, lamb, pork, chicken and fish. It was a feast.
Aunty D said she didn't make a reservation.
The waitress initially gave us 2 separate tables ... like one over there ... and the other over here.
The restaurant was fully booked.
Oh boy.
Then, for some reason, Mom found herself taking the initiative to express our disappointment in having the family sit on 2 individual tables ... that were apart from each other.
Uncle Chris explained : "All the tables are reserved. Those are the only 2 tables available."
There was a 120 minutes duration for patrons and it was early dinner time around 6.30pm. Most people had just come in.
All the long tables were taken.
The best the waitress could offer was to have 2 separate tables nearer to each other ... but still not together.
What a bummer.
We went outside to wait ... for Justine and Kayden to arrive. They were coming from work.
A few minutes later, the waitress appeared and said she has an idea and would we like to have a look to see if that was acceptable.
She requested for "one person" to go in with her.
Aunty D and Uncle C were like :
"You go ... you go ..."
So, your mother stepped into the restaurant.
Mom followed the waitress.
The girl came to the supposed proposed set up.
She pointed and said, "We can remove this blind (like a partition), so there will be 2 tables ... side by side."
Mom immediately said,
"Yes. Do it. This is much better."
A mother with 3 kids had just occupied one of the tables ... on one side of the partition. The waitress had to explain to the mother if it was okay for her and her 3 kids to move to another table.
Mom gave a smile and offered her apologies for the inconvenience.
The lady said okay.
And that's how we got our long table ... and how the family were able to sit together and dine together and celebrate together ... on the two tables that were side by side.
Hmmm.
Did you do something there, Daniel?
It was an impossible situation.
Uncle Chris insisted in the beginning that we had to sit separately ... 5 on one table here and another 5 on a table ...
like ...
over there.
Mom knew you had something to do with that. Your mother had - that - feeling.
Lol.
You were with us.
That's for sure.
The family had such a nice time.
Fast forward ...
Back home later.
Mom was in the bedroom.
Dad was in the living room, chatting with his brother (who is staying with us while waiting for his new apartment to be renovated).
Mom turned on her Two And A Half Men on TV.
Two episodes from Season 6.
Umm ...
The episode where Chelsea had dumped Charlie for Brad, and Charlie found himself in the arms of Gail, Chelsea's best friend.
At the same time, Mom was playing her Tetris.
Level 1139.
She has been stuck at this level for months now.
So a out an hour later, around 2 episodes later, Dad came in the room.
Mom took the remote to change the show. Lol.
Dad would always say, when he sees what's on the TV screen :
"How many times do you have to watch that?"
Hahaha.
So Mom clicked on YouTube.
"The Billionaire's Wife."
The title caught your mother's attention for some reason.
Hmm.
New movie.
Uploaded 4 days ago.
Mom clicked on it.
You must have whispered to your mother to stop her Tetris and watch the screen ... because Mom found herself holding her handphone (her game is paused) but her eyes were glued on the TV screen.
Then Mom received a ZAP.
Mom saw those words on the screen and her heart literally skipped a bit.
Christopher Nelson
O
M
G
Seriously.
She could have easily missed that had she been playing her Tetris.
CHRISTOPER NELSON
Oh boy ...
You don't say ...
Instant flashback to the restaurant this evening.
Uncle CHRISTOPHER ... encountered difficulty and impossibility in getting a family table in a fully-booked restaurant at the time we were there for Ryan's celebration ...
And SON ...
You
clearly
came
to
the
rescue.
Mom had a feeling then ... when we suddenly got our family table in the end ... but now, she knows for sure.
That was such a good ZAP, Son.
Thank you for helping us get that family table, Daniel.
Then, shortly into the movie, maybe 5 minutes or so, Mom heard your name mentioned.
Lol.
Heard that?
What are the chances of your mother hearing your name right after her son zapped her?
No chance.
Angel chance
You were clearly with Mom ... as in all the time.
So, the show went on.
Mom turned to her game.
Occasionally, she would look up to see what's going on ... then turn back to her game.
Until ...
she heard the word
Little
Red
Riding
Hood
coming from the screen.
Omg.
What?
Dad heard it too.
Dad echoed, "Hey, Little Red Rding Hood ..."
Little Red Riding Hood was our theme in school 2 weeks ago.
See our school's message for July and August.
Little Red Riding Hood at the top of the second page.
The week of Aug 10 to 14.
That whole week, we were doing the famous dialogues :
Is that you, Little Red Riding Hood?
Grandmother, what big eyes you have.
All the better to see you with, my dear.
Etc
So, for Mom to hear all that familiar lines before her then, was just totally surreal.
You were clearly with your mother.
You would probably have seen her school blog on Little Red Riding Hood and reminding Mom that you are always by her side.
Gosh.
Zap Zap Zap!
Thank you, Daniel ... for always letting Mom know that you are near.
Daily ...
You remind her.
Keep the ZAPS coming.
Gotta go dress up.
Big hugs.
Over to you, Son.
Mom
xoxo
