Hello Son,
Saturday, 4:05 pm
After Mom sent her call-text 782,
she was just chilling on the sofa,
sipping her coffee.
Random videos of Michael Jackson
were just tuning in.
One after another.
Some Mom have watched before,
some even more.
Mom just let them play.
Then came one video, when Mom
heard these words to this effect :
Jeffrey Daniel taught MJ the moonwalk.
Pause.
What??
Jeffrey who???
Did Mom just heard your name mentioned???
Your mother sat right up.
Ohh.
That's new.
She never knew that.
Sure she heard MJ learned
that moonwalk from watching
black kids dancing on
the streets,
but she never knew there was
a name attached to the teacher.
Mom made a search on google.
Mom read the words out loud :
Jeffrey Daniel ... pioneered the
dance move the backslide - which,
after he taught it to Michael Jackson,
became known as the moonwalk.
Heehee.
Of all the names that could have been
the name of the person who taught
Michael Jackson
his iconic Billie Jean dance move,
it had to be a name that ZAPS your mother!
Jeffrey DANIEL.
Seriously.
Who would have thought.
MJ must be right beside you now,
huh Daniel.
Big smile.
You must have received Mom's
call-text 782.
Keep the zaps coming.
Mom
xoxo
