Day 11 : BONDI BEACH |
Aunty C is not working today.
We are going to visit Bondi Beach.
Sunscreen on, people.
Bring your hats.
We are going to have a fun day at the beach.
Hurrah!
Train ride is about 2 hours from Liverpool to Bondi.
Mom wants to see the spot where
Mother Mary appeared at Coogee Beach.
In Jan, 2003, the Virgin Mary appeared at Coogee.
As narrated by a local resident.
How wonderful.
Miraculous.
Had we known ...
You were 9 years old then.
Wow.
A RAINBOW
greets us at the beach.
Immediately, these lyrics come to mind.
"Lord, make me a RAINBOW
I'll shine down on my mother,
She'll know I'm safe with you,
When she stands under my colours ..."
From the song
If I Die Young.
ZAP ZAP ZAP!!!
You surely must have seen your mother smiling
from ear to ear.
Everywhere we are, there you will always be.
Everywhere, and anywhere.
There you are.
Always.
Thank you, Son.
For always reminding us that you are close.
The water is glorious.
Seriously, no camera lens can capture
the beauty of the beach that morning.
OMG Daniel ...
You don't say ...
but ... is that your light shining down on Mom,
as per the song lyrics above?
Mom just notice the light upon uploading the photo. |
Oh my, another one in the background. |
Mom has never taken so many ... |
selfies before in her entire life. |
Can you spot Grandma? |
With the umbrella. |
How wonderful to live in Bondi. |
Couldn't get enough of the blue skies. |
Fantastic weather today! |
Son-flower. |
Do you see the son-flower, Son? |
Picnic under a tree. |
This eatery is amazing. |
strong winds |
From Bondi ... |
to St Mary's Cathedral in the city. |
Back in Liverpool. Pizza for dinner. |
