Hello Son,

Saturday, June 25, 2022

Grandma celebrated her 80+1 birthday on Saturday, June 25.

June 25 being Mom's birthday.

Extended family.

Grandma's friends.

The food was surprisingly good.

All the guests enjoyed the food.

Some had to wait though for their orders, but all in all,

the dinner was - thumbs up!

Grandma's friends were all into the 60s 70s and 80s songs.

Everyone sang the night away.

Grandma shared her story about her FULL HOUSE birthday cake.

Mom's not gonna repeat it here.

You have to be there to hear it first-hand.

Grin.

By 10:30 pm, most of the guests have left.

Justine, Megan took over the mics.

Haha.

You can imagine what happened next.

It wouldn't have been a complete perfect celebration

had it not been for the next thing that happened.

The manager came.

Presented the bill.

One thing led to another.

Aunty C mentioned that it was Mom's birthday and do we get

some kind of discount on the bill.

You can imagine how intimidated the manager was.

Aunty C in her scary mask.

Haha.

No discount, said the manager.

(what!)

But ...

(Oh good, buts are good ...)

we can give you one FREE extra hour.

Pause.

What's that again?

One FREE hour???

The manager gave us ONE FREE EXTENDED HOUR

to allow us to continue singing our hearts out.

OMG.

Seriously???

Hahahahahaha ...

If that's not from you, Daniel, all the way from heaven, then who?

ZAP ZAP ZAP!!!

By then, we were all like standing on the sofa ...

Going wild.

Thanks Son, for the one FREE hour ...

we truly sang to our hearts' content.

More food came in.

Chicken wings and fries, served on a wooden board.

Really, really yummy.

Take Mom's word for it.

We were too busy digging into the food and

did not have time to snap photos.

The next day, on June 26th, something wonderful happened.

Mom will reveal it soon on your call blog, yes yes ...

as soon as the person involved has knowledge about it.

Can't wait ...

Meanwhile, Dad gave Mom a basket of pink roses

and a bouquet of purple lilies.

Awwwww.

How lovely.

You must have whispered to Dad to get Mom 2 bouquets this year?

Haha.

Gotta go.

Talk to you in a bit, Son.

Keep the zaps coming.

Hugs and squeezes,

Mom
