Call 129 : TEMPORARY HOME

Hello Son,

It's Monday today.

Dad's gone out with his brother. Justine will be going out with her friends later this morning. The whole of last week has been hectic. So much to tell, don't know how to begin.

Mom's gonna continue where she left off at...

Call 128 : WHITE FEATHER

before she skipped a few entries and jumped straight to to the wedding weekend. The inciDANS that happened before and leading up, to the wedding were pretty special too ...

January 22, the day after your First Anniversary ...

Dad and Mom left the house at 8:15am. Dad was going to Ipoh with the company staff. Your mother was dropping him off at the pick up point, somewhere in Puchong.

On the way home, the song TEMPORARY HOME came on the radio.

By Carrie Underwood.

It's been quite a while since she heard that song. What a great song to remind your mother that...

"this is our temporary home..."

when the day before (your First Anniversary), we had put out a notice in the papers that your (permanent) address is now :

Somewhere Over The Rainbow
Kingdom of Heaven

See Call 128 : WHITE FEATHER

You must have sent that song as a respond to Mom's notice. Mom can tell.

Yeah Mom, I'm somewhere over the rainbow now, in God's Kingdom, earth is only our temporary home... :D

Mom remembered uploading this song on your blog before, and so, she decided that she would not upload it again - then.

See Call 37 : NO WARNING

Anyway ...

Justine went for her driving lesson that afternoon. Her instructor had dropped her at the condo lobby. Mom picked her up and we drove to church to attend Novena and Sunset Mass.

In the car, would You believe it, but the first thing she said to your mother was :

Have You heard of the song TEMPORARY HOME?

Mom was driving, mind You ... but that didn't stop her from turning to look at your sister for like - the longest time.

Justine was like, "What -- what -- what???"

Mom said slowly,

"Why - did - You - suddenly - ask - me - that?"

Justine replied,

"It was on American Idol last night. J. Lo cried."

"Yeah, but still ... What do You mean, J. Lo cried?"

Mom asked.

Justine explained that one of the contestant had sung  TEMPORARY HOME and J. Lo was so touched that she cried.

"Have You heard the song before?" Justine asked again.

Mom reminded Jus that she had uploaded this song on your blog some months back. Justine paused to recollect, and exclaimed,

"Oh yeah yeah yeah ..."

"This morning TEMPORARY HOME was on the radio ..." Mom said.

"Really??? Oh Wow ..."

"It's so strange that You asked me about it ... You could have said anything, Jus, but You had to say TEMPORARY HOME - the first thing You said when You got into the car," Mom remarked.

Hmmm ...

He's giving us a message, that's for sure ... :D

Later that night ...

Mom was at the computer writing to You.

Justine had left the television on for some reason...

which reason would become apparent in a few minutes.

Before long, Mom heard the word TEMPORARY HOME again. On the television.

American Idol was on, and the contestant had just introduced her song. Mom stopped to watch the Idol Justine was telling her about in the car this evening, deliver TEMPORARY HOME with such passion ...

J. Lo wasn't the only one who was moved to tears ...
For a while, even after the show was over, Mom wondered ...

And wondered some more ...

You must have whispered to your sister to turn on the TV and then to your mother to be right by the TV area about that time. :D

It sure was coinciDANS that Mom happened to catch the Idol singing the song Justine was telling her about in the car ...

Three times, she's heard the song today, although the second time, it was just a brief mention. The day before was your First Anniversary. The day right after, she hears this song-message TEMPORARY HOME mentioned morning, afternoon and night. It was as if the message was being drummed into her head.

Again ...

And again ...

And again ...

Mom got your message, Son ... :D

She surely did ...

You have said before,

"When I tell You once, You don't listen,

I have to tell You again and again ..."

You must have seen your mother grimaced as she recalls your complaints, on more than one occasion ...

Zzzzzaa -- PPPP!!! :D

Mom hears You, Daniel ...

Yes Son, this is only our temporary home ...

We will all be together again some day ...
