Call 511 : RED GUY

Hello Son,

On Saturday yesterday, Mom talked to You on Call 510 at 1:14 pm.

Later that evening, Dad and Mom sent Justine to Bandar Utama for a function. One of her friends was celebrating her birthday. So anyway, we were in the car, waiting for one of her friends to arrive ... when ...

FOREVER YOUNG came on the radio.

Just the one line.

At 7:42 pm.

Decode : 4

Her angel sign.

Take note please.

FOREVER YOUNG, I wanna be forever young ...

Of course Mom's senses were alerted.

Like -- excuse her, but who else can we all think of when FOREVER YOUNG comes on, right?

So her thoughts were on You. Especially You. In fact, she cannot think of a moment when she's not thinking of her son. When she wakes up, he's there ... when she goes to bed, he's there. :D

Need she say more?

The next song came on. When Mom heard the intro music, she let out a yelp and nudged Dad excitedly, "Omg, Call Me, Call Me ... He definitely got my call ..."

LEAN ON ME.

The song ends with a lot of Call Me ...

Call me (If you need a friend)

Call me (Call me uh-huh)

Call me (When you need a friend)

Call me (If you ever need a friend)

Call me (Call me)

Call me (Call me)

Call me (Call me)

Call me (Call me)

Call me (If you need a friend)

Call me (Call me)

Call me (Call me)

Call me (Call me)

Call me (Call me)

Call me

Yeah, that many repeats --- for Mom's benefit, that's for sure. :D

Chuckle.

She was too overwhelmed at that CALL ME moment, she forgot to check the time. She was sure it would have been her angel time. That was a clear ZAP from her son all the way from heaven. Oh, why didn't she check the time? Then she would know for sure!

Note the doubts.

Mom can see You shaking your head already.

Justine soon left us when her friend appeared.

Dad and Mom drove on to IKEA.

Yeah, in the jam. How crazy were we???

Another song came on shortly after and spoke to Mom.

Yeah, spoke.

FAITH came on the radio.

I gotta have faith faith faith ... (George Michael)

The time was 8:16 pm.

Decode : 15

Forever 15.

ZAP ZAP ZAP.

You gotta have faith, Ma ... :D

Mom had to smile. She felt the --- chide.

You just know how to zap your mother and make your presence felt, don't You?

So anyway ... that was Saturday, yesterday.

Today, Mom got up about 7:15 am.

Grandma called -- to remind Mom that Justine would be following Grandma to Holy Rosary for mass.

Mom hung up, and walked to the window.

Looking out into the horizon, she said aloud to Dad, "Daniel is there, far far away amongst those clouds -- over there ..."

Sighing, she closed the windows. We were going for mass, and may be back late.

It might rain.

Dad and Mom left the condo after 8:30 am.

Pause.

Don't You say a word.

Yes yes, we all know mass starts at 8:30 am ...

Oh well, no use crying over spilt milk.

Right?

So anyway, we arrived in church.

Outside of the church was already packed.

Mom spotted 2 empty chairs.

We walked over quietly and sat down.

The first thing Mom noticed was this :

BUMBLEBEE.

Nostalgia.

You had a bumblebee suit when You were a baby.

The hood was down and the bottom part of the outfit was lifted up
as the maid was about to change your pampers. :D

Anyway, Mom was sitting right behind the guy in red.

The person on the right of the red guy was wearing an orange tee shirt.

Hmmm, something smells fishy here ...

Bumblebee on her left ... and orange on her right.

Mom whispered to Dad, "See the bumblebee there?"

Dad smiled.

"And right in front of you is a big orange tee shirt ..." :D

Dad nodded with a chuckle.

Pause.

There was just something -- something -- weird -- about these two signs that had -- somehow -- captivated her attention.

She couldn't put a nail on it.

What was it?

What was it???

Then, all of a sudden ...

Mom almost jumped out of her seat as she jerked forward, one hand covering her mouth, as her jaw dropped dramatically.

Omg ...

Omg ...

OMG ...

You can't be serious!!!

No way!!!

What are the chances???

Omg, she cannot believe her eyes!!!

Mom pulled on Dad's arm urgently and whispered in excited tones,

"Omg, look at the chair ... look at the chair ... look at the chair!!!"

as she pointed to the chair right in front of her.

Yes, the chair that was in front of your mother's face.

The chair that the red guy was sitting on ... that was right in front of your mother.

Mom was sitting right behind the red guy.

Dad was sitting behind the orange guy.

Do You see it???

Do You see it???

No???

You don't see it???

How about now???

Omg ...

Do You see it now???

Can You see YOUR NAME on the seat???

Omg ...

Mom reached out to touch the --- grafitti.

She whispered to Dad, "It's carved on to the seat ... I thought it was written but it's not, it's been carved on to the seat ... Omg ... What are the chances? What are the chances, you tell me?"

A blade of some kind was definitely used to scratched your name onto the chair.

Omg ...

A million and one names that could have been on that seat ... and it had to be yours.

What are the chances of Mom sitting RIGHT BEHIND THAT SEAT???

Good Lord ...

How incredible!!!

Bumblebee on her left, Orange on her right, and DANIEL in front of her.

Seriously???

ZAP ZAP ZAP...

After mass, in the car, Mom said with extreme joy in her heart, "Son is telling me that he's not far away ... He's very near me ... maybe like right in front of me, that kind of near ... he may be on the clouds far away, but he's also near ... he wants me to know that ... he can be here and there and everywhere ... but he's always near me ..."

Sniff ...

Near far wherever You are ... (Titanic)

That was surreal, Daniel ...

Everywhere we are, there You'll be ... <3

You're near ... very near ...

Keep the zaps coming, Son ...

We love You and miss You so very much ...

Oh yes, by the way, Dad read the graffiti and said, "Daniel loves -- POM?"

The heart.

And that word looks like POM.

Mom said, "I'm sure he meant M-O-M ..."

Grin.

Over to You, Son ... :D

Call 510 : WHERE'S EVERYBODY?

Hello Son,

Friday, December 6

Mom was in the car, ready to go to school.

She turned on the ignition, and a sound came from the radio.

She turned to look.

Within two seconds, and quite unexpectedly, these wonderful TITANIC lyrics came on to invade her senses.

Every night in my dreams ...

I see You, I feel You ...

That is how I know You go on ...

The time was 6:51 am.

First thing in the morning, her mental math needs warming up.

She said aloud, "Five one six ... six six ... twelve ..."

OMG seriously ...

21 ...

Good Lord, how do You do it, Son?

Would You look at the timing? It's just too perfect. Mom could have come down from the condo, say one or two minutes earlier or later, and those lyrics would have greeted her not in such a perfect way as it did ... right then.

And 21???

ZAP ZAP ZAP.

That was a clear :

Morning Ma ... :D

A wide smile appeared on her face. You must have seen that. Driving out of the condo, she listened to the TITANIC song and allowed the lyrics to immm-merse into every fiber of her being.

Pause.

Immerse Ma? OooOoohhhh ...  O.O

She laughed quietly to herself, as she remembers your "trembling hands" action, mocking her whenever she was dramatic.

Mom misses You, Daniel. <3

Your handsome face ... she misses your hand-shome face.

Grimace ...

Are You here with Mom? Like sitting right next to her seat?

She wondered.

Near far, wherever You are ...

I believe that the heart will go on ...

You're just everywhere, aren't You?

There's no specific point where You are at, is she right?

Near far wherever You are ...

She soon reached school.

By 7:40 am, as she had instructed, Teacher X reminded her that she had to go pick up a kid.

Yeah, just the one boy. All the others are on holiday.

Mom cleared the batch of papers she was photostating, before walking to the lift.

At the lift ...

The doors opened.

Something white on the red carpet caught her eye.

It was a white feather. :D

Pulling out her cell, she checked the time.

7:46 am.

Decode : 44

Smile.

Her angel number.

Her son is reminding her that he's near.

So anyway, she was soon driving to the boy's apartment.

Reaching the apartment, she parked by the side of the mini-playground, and turned off the engine.

It was still early. The boy would be coming down at 8 am.

As she was sitting in the car, all of a sudden, a tiny feather slowly descended down right before her startled eyes.

From heaven.

The time was 7:59 am.

Decode : 21

Omg ...

Mom jumped out of the car, to take a snapshot of her eviDANS.

Can You see it?

She knelt down to take a closer photo, hoping at the same time, that no one would pass by, and wondering why she was taking a photo of the --- ground.

A pure white feather.

Her second one that morning.

Two pure white feathers?

And 44 and 21???

Confirmed -- from heaven. :D

Grin.

Smiling to herself, she went back into the car, overwhelmed by the zap.

Just then, the boy and his mother arrived.

Perfect timing ... as always.

Oh wow ... :D

Back in school, at one point during the day, she looked through some book samples that the supplier had left her for orders.

It was then that she came across this page and found herself staring momentarily.

Oh my gosh ...

Seriously Daniel ...

Would You take a look at all the eviDANS???

First, the rainbow ...

Then, the large numbers 5 and 7 ...

Secret code : 21

And then, see the tiny airplane (on the top left) ...

Daniel is travelling tonight on a plane ...

The song DANIEL immediately sprang to mind.

Awww Son ...

ZAP ZAP ZAP ...

How could a page in a preschool book bring so much --- joy and --- happiness --- to her heart?

So much -- meaning.

And memories ...

It must be Christmas.

The feeling of warmth and love and ... and comfort, is in the air.

Shortly after, Mom was photostating some Math papers ... and she came across this sheet that literally --- spoke --- to her.

1234 ...

1234, I Love You ...

She hears it loud and clear ... the way You used to sing it with finger action and all.

There's only 1 way

2 say

those 3 words

4 You-uu

I love You <3

Thank You, Son for reminding Mom daily that You're near.

And THANK YOU JESUS for His resurrection ... because of His resurrection, we will be together again some day, Son. That is GOD's good promise to us.

Smile.

Be good and keep the zaps coming.

Mama loves You. <3

Hugs and kisses from all at home.

At this point of writing, Mom keyed in the words illustration snoopy for an image to insert after the 1234 lyrics and was totally zapped by this:

Time stood still for her, as You must know.

That was your favorite line from the hospital bed, a week before You left us.

"Where's everybody?" You would say, oh - so - slowly.

Mom will always remember this line, Son.

So would everybody.

ZAP ZAP ZAP.

You're zapping Mom as she's talking to You, she knows it. :D

Call 509 : PIANO LESSON

Hello Son,

Truly, all kinds of everything reminds Mom of You.

Something incredible happened today and Mom knows You're behind it.

Mom was at home. It was about 9:30 am or thereabouts.

She went to the kitchen.

She found herself looking at that grey feather that found her yesterday -- she had left it on the sharpening-bar (whatever You may call it). That grey feather had dropped on to the sink.

Mom found herself looking at it.

Peering closer ...

Oh my gosh ...

What is that???

There was a fluffy white feather to the right of the grey one.

Oh my.

Last night, when Mom found the grey feather, she did quietly wonder why it wasn't white. Especially when she was reminded of the WHITE FEATHER in Call 128.

Last night she thought it, and this morning, she sees a pure white feather in her sink? She would have missed it, except that the grey feather had caught her eye ... and calling out to her to look closely.

Here's your white feather, Ma ... :D

Mom picked up the white feather and laid it on the sharpening-bar.

As she was looking at it ...

 an ANT came a-crawling by.

Omg ...

An ANT???

Oh my goodness.

Seriously???

ZAP ZAP ZAP!!!

You're with Mom, aren't You, Son?

That was super incredible.

Aunty Di soon called and the next thing your mother knew, she was going to Gardens with Aunty Di.

Before we went, Aunty C said to go over to Grandma's house to have Grandma's curry chicken.

So there we were, at Grandma's house, feasting on the curry chicken. In fact, we were not supposed to be there because shortly after, whilst we were still eating, Grandma's piano teacher arrived.

It's time for Grandma's piano lesson.

Someone said, can't remember who now, could have been Mom or Aunty D, but one of us said, "Mom (Grandma),why did you ask us to come eat when you're having your piano lesson?"

Grandma replied, "I didn't ask yall to come ..."

Aunty Di and Mom both turned to look at your Aunt C, and called out in unison, "Carolllll ..."

Aunty C apparently called us over ...  all by herself. Grandma meant for us to go over for dinner ... not during her piano lesson.

You must have whispered to your Aunty C.

Yes, You must have ... for reasons that would soon be apparent to us.

So anyway ...

Grandma played a Christmas piece -- can't remember which one now.

Aunty D, Aunty C and Mom looked at one another and gave the "not bad, not bad" expression.

Then, the teacher took over and played -- guess what --

Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

Say what???

Aunty Di was like, "Eh, Somewhere Over The Rainbow ..."

Mom glanced at her cell.

The time was 10:59 am.

Decode : 15

Forever 15 ...

Awwww Son ...

You're with us, Mom knows. She was all smiles.

CoiniDANtally, the song BEAUTIFUL STRANGER is on right now (at this paragraph) ...

the lyrics coming from the television :

Now I can see, you set me free ...

touched a chord in your mother's heart.

Pause.

Free ???

You must have seen your mother's ears pricked up, huh?

You really know how to make your presence felt, Son.

Thank you, Son ...  for always reminding your mother that You're near.

Anyway, where was she?

Ah, Somewhere Over The Rainbow ... so say HELLO to Grandma's new piece this week. She must have been inspired by the boy who played that song so beautifully on concert day that she has asked the teacher to teach her this song.

We weren't supposed to be there ...

Yet we were ...

Wow Son ...

Awesome ...

That afternoon, Grandma and Mom had tea with a friend.

For 3 hours.

We would have gone on longer if not for your mother's alarm to remind her that she had to send some kids back at 6 pm. This meeting is significant, and Mom knows You brought this person to her. Somebody's life is about to be changed ...

So anyway, to cut a long story short, later that evening, as she was driving home, with all your aunts and uncle in the car, we were driving behind this vehicle ... for an awfully long time.

Smile.

You're near. She knows it.

It's too easy.

6457

Decode : 4

Easy.

You. :D

Then, whilst we were still crawling bumper to bumper behind this vehicle (office hours jam), the radio host announced:

"Forever 21 is having a promotional sale ..."

H-huh???

Forever 21???

Like FOREVER???

The time was 7:03 pm.

Decode : 4

You again.

Omg ...

ZAP ZAP ZAP...

You know what's going on, don't You? It's just amazing how things have a way of working out. Thanks Son. The situation is just perfect.

Keep the zaps coming, Son ...

Call 508 : KITCHEN ZAP

Hello Son,

There's a lot going on in your mother's mind at the moment.

It's just so weird that everything is falling into place.

Things somehow have a way of working out.

It's unbelievable.

Have faith, Ma ... things will work out. :D

Mom can hear You say.

This evening, she was washing the dishes.

As she was staring into the empty black space in front of her, black because it's dark, a little feather came a-fluttering down right in front of her face.

Omgosh, Son. The first time that happened was your 1st Anniversary with Jesus and Mama Mary. Just before the stroke of midnight, (must You be dramatic?) a tiny white feather came floating down and got itself stuck at the back of the water faucet.

Call 128 : White Feather

Mom gave a lil yelp, picked up the feather carefully, and kinda half-ran out of the kitchen to get her cellphone.

Calling Justine at the same time, "Jus Jus, a feather just dropped down ..."

From Heaven, was what she should have said, but that's already implied, isnt' it?

The time was 8:59 pm.

Mom asked your sister, "What's eight fifty-nine?"

Justine frowned a lil before replying, "25?"

"25???" Mom echoed in disbelief. Disbelief because it wasn't a zap number.

"dAnIeLLLL!!!" Mom called out your name dramatically.

Justine said, "Eh, wait a minute ..."

Mom punched the numbers onto a calculator beside her, because these days, her addition is only up to within 10. It's after 8 pm -- her brains are not functioning anymore.

Haha.

The calculator showed 22.

Decode : 4

Ahhhh ... that's more like it.

Mom showed Justine the calculator with a triumphant smile.

ZAP ZAP ZAP ...

You really do know what's going on, don't You?

Help Mom make the right decisions, will You please?

Give her a sign.

Correction, two signs.

See the grey feather?

Thanks Son for zapping your mother and reminding her that You're near.

It's just too amazing how things just have a way of working out in the end.

Keep the zaps coming, Son. <3

Talk to You tomorrow, kay?

Love You, Son.
