Hello Son,
Something totally amazing happened on Thursday, April 6.
Maundy Thursday.
We were in school.
The plan for the day was as follows :
Teacher A was going to stay back in school till 5 pm.
(She normally goes back at 3 pm)
Mom will return at 5 pm ... and be in school with another staff,
until last child goes home (normally around 6:15 pm) ... and
thereafter, Dad, Mom and Justine will be off to church. We are
helping out during the mass at 8 pm. (Mom mistakenly
thought it was the 8pm mass.)
So that day, Justine was on leave.
She went to the gym.
After her exercise, Jus texted Dad about lunch.
Your sister was supposed to swing by the school to pick us up
for lunch at around 1:30 pm.
Just before Justine arrived in school, Teacher A was telling Mom
that she will be able to stay back until the "last child goes home."
Mom didn't think it was necessary, and told Teacher A to just
stay back till 5 pm, and Mom will be back to school at that time,
and Teacher A and go back then.
Very strange.
Teacher A repeated several times to Mom that she would be able
to stay back "till the last child goes home." She has never said this
before and coming from her, that was a little strange. Normally,
her latest would be 5 pm, thereafter she would need to go home
to prepare dinner etc.
Anyway ... Justine arrived in school.
Dad went down first.
Mom was finalising with Teacher A at the time.
Teacher A still insisted again that she could stay till "the last child
goes home."
Again, Mom told her, that was not necessary. Stick to the original
plan, Mom said. Teacher A will stay back till 5pm. Mom will return
to school at 5 pm, and Teacher A will be able to go home them.
OK. So that was set.
Mom took her handbag and went to the lift.
In the lift, your mother realized she had left her handphone in school.
This is not uncommon. Mom has left her handphone in school
before ... and she will normally retrieve it when she returns later in the
evening.
However, that day ... there was this nagging feeling ... like a voice
in her head ... to tell her to go back to school to get her handphone.
The lift came to the G floor.
The door opened.
Mom would have stepped out as she normally does, and tell herself
that she would get her handphone later when she returns.
This time however, the voice / feeling was just intense. Mom found
herself pressing the lift button to number 5 ... to go back to school.
She had to get her handphone.
At 5th floor, Mom walked out, went back to school ... and at the same
time Teacher A came out of the school door entrance and handed Mom
the handphone.
Your mother took the handphone, said her thanks, and told Teacher A
"will be back by 5 pm."
Everything was as normal as could be.
In the lift, Mom scrolled to the Church group text to check what duties
Dad, Mom and Justine would be assigned to.
She scrolled to the 8 pm mass.
She frowned.
Where were your father, mother and sister's names?
You would have seen your mother slowly scrolling down the list
with her finger.
Our names were not on that 8 pm list.
Hurriedly, Mom swiped to the list of the earlier mass at 4 pm.
Gasp!!!
We were on duty for the 4 pm mass!!!
Immediately, Mom called Teacher A and told her yes, yes, yes ...
she needed Teacher A to stay back in school (with another staff)
"till the last child goes home."
In the car, Mom told Dad and your sister that we were attending
the 4 pm mass ... and not the 8 pm. Dad and Justine did not
remember and had not said anything about the 4 pm mass either.
OMG.
Had we forgotten, and gone to the wrong mass, we would have
inconvenienced all those on duty at 4 pm ... because 3 volunteers
were missing!
Gosh Daniel ...
You must have whispered to Teacher A to stay back "till the last child
goes home" (so that Mom need not return to school after she left at noon)
... and ...
and ...
for sure, you had whispered to your mother to "go back to school to
get your handphone, Mom."
That was pretty amazing, Son.
On top of that, Dad and Mom had said a prayer in school early that morning ...
when no one was around. We had not for a while now because by the time
your parents came to school, the staff were already there. However, the helper
is on 2 weeks leave (went back home to Indonesia) and so Dad and Mom were
early on that Thursday.
The helper was absent from Wednesday.
Just to mention here that, on Wednesday ...
there was literally BIG chaos in the school.
3 kids were wailing throughout the day.
One was a new kid, so yeah, that's understandable.
The other 2 ... were normally very good.
We hired a replacement helper for the 2 weeks ...
and we wondered whether it was because of this new
stranger in the school that made these 2 uncomfortable.
She has a pleasant face ... not scary or fierce looking.
So anyway, because of all the crying on Wednesday,
Mom told Dad that we had to say a prayer that Thursday morning.
At the end of Dad's prayer, Mom added, "In JESUS' name,
all-that-is-unclean-and-of-no-good, BE CAST OUT!
She had raised her voice "BE CAST OUT" several times, while pointing
to all the directions in the school ... up down center left right corner to corner.
Yup, it was dramatic.
When things get dramatic, dramatic measures have to be taken.
So there.
Kids wailing throughout the day --- Hellloo, don't say that's not dramatic!
That day, on Maundy Thursday after the prayer early in the morning ...
believe it or not but there was a drastic difference.
Total calm and peace in the school.
Child A was back to her normal quiet self.
Child B cried when she first came in, but stopped and return to normal.
Child C (new one) dropped the crying mode by like 90%.
Gosh.
We have forgotten how powerful a PRAYER can be.
Did Mom not read somewhere that the D*vil actually shivers when
we say THE ROSARY?
So yeah, PEACE returned on Thursday ... after a TURBULENCE on Wednesday ...
and Mom was able to leave the school to Teacher A and another staff while
she was attending mass at 4 pm. (We had to report by 3 pm ... and mass would be
like for 2 hours ... so yeah, definitely no time to return to school).
So that was good.
We were in church by 3 pm.
Fast forward ...
After mass, Mom went to Mother Mary's grotto.
We have 2 grotto at St Francis Xavier.
One was Lourdes, and the other was Fatima.
Mom went to the Fatima Grotto ... our car was parked nearby.
Justine was in the car ... Dad was still in church helping
with the collection duties.
Mom was with Mama Mary till Dad came to get her.
That was about 20 minutes or so.
She had a good heart-to-heart talk with our Lady ... more
importantly, she remembered to thank JESUS and MARY
for keeping you safe and alive in HEAVEN ... we feel your presence
all the time, Daniel ... and today was no exception.
Mom is humbled how God allows you to communicate and zap her
all the time.
ALL THE TIME.
Yes, all the time.
Daily.
So anyway, Dad came to get Mom. and we walked to the car.
Justine was driving.
We were going to SS2 for dinner.
In the car, Dad and Justine were talking about some new condos
and developments.
Mom was sitting behind ... just looking out the window ...
and going through the events of the day. Seriously, what made
Teacher A kept telling Mom that she was able to "stay back till the
last child goes home"? And ... What made your mother return to the school
to retrieve her handphone? Oh, and what made Justine come over to pick
your Dad and Mom up for lunch? (In the end we didn't have lunch --
Justine only had time to shower, she had been to the gym ...
and then we had to hurry to church by 3 pm)
You must have whispered to Justine too.
Go pick up Mom and Dad.
Since your sister started working, she has never stopped by the school
to pick us up for a meal ... not even on her off days.
Normally Dad will just buy back home.
That was the very first time that Justine came to pick us up.
Everything just fell into place ... so orderly.
About 10 minutes or so in the car, Mom suddenly noticed a familiar
tune coming from the radio.
Your mother listened.
It can't be ...
She wasn't 100% sure of the song until the first line came on ...
When I find myself in times of trouble ...
Pause ...
What???
OMG!!!
No way!!!
GASP!!!
Mother Mary comes to me ...
Speaking words of wisdom ...
Let it be ...
You would have seen your mother almost jumped out of her seat
in the car as she was trying to get Dad and Justine's attention.
Mom was like, "OMG!!! I was just talking to Mother Mary at
the grotto just now ... and now she's replying to me!
She heard my prayers!"
What are the chances of this LET IT BE song coming on right after
Mom visited the grotto, and on the way to dinner? The car ride was
about 20 minutes thereabouts.
Mom had the FULL song sang to her.
It was heart-to-heart talk at the grotto ...
from a mother-to-a-mother, Mom said,
and this-song-comes-on????
ZAP ZAP ZAP!!!
All the way from Heaven and back!
Mom's eyes had shot to the time the second she knew the song.
1816
Immediately, your mother's brains went into overdrive.
1816
286
143
Mom drew in her breath slowly.
One
Three
Four ...
Why does that sound familiar?
OMG ...
Is - that - not - the - number - she - had -
seen - on - the - recent - Saturday?
Mom had taken a photo then. She was watching a movie (Netflix on TV) ...
Dad was away during the weekend, and Mom was all alone at home,
Justine was working ... Mom cannot remember now which movie it was ...
it could have been MURDER MYSTERIES 2 (but she can't be sure) ...
when she saw the name DAN popped onto the TV screen.
At the time, Mom had taken the photo to show Dad that DAN was
with her when she was all alone at home.
413 DAN
44 DAN
Now it made sense.
Of course, DAN was behind it all the time.
LOL.
Mom laughed to herself.
It was amazing.
She thought about it so much that the next morning, on Friday @ 7:11 am,
as Dad and Mom were driving to school, a car with the number plate
1618 drove ahead of us.
1618
All the numbers of the day before : 1816.
Yup, the time when Mother Mary appeared to Mom ... on the radio.
It's the car on the right of the bike.
1618
It's not clear, Mom knows ...
but you know what you sent.
1618
Message received.
Two ZAP numbers.
Mother Mary surely and truly came to Mom yesterday
right after Mom visited the grotto.
Nobody ... but nobody can say otherwise.
photo from the internet
On Friday, Good Friday ...
At 3 pm, it started to rain.
Every Good Friday, as far as Mom can remember, it always rains.
Anyways, we were gonna attend mass at 8:30 pm.
Justine finish work at 7 pm, so we were not able to go
for the earlier mass at 6 pm.
Meanwhile, Aunty C from Sydney sent the following 3 photos
in our family chat.
Aunt C says : Mass was packed. (14:46)
Aunt C : Right after mass. (14:47)
Aunt C : Double Rainbow (14:47)
Lord, make me a rainbow,
I'll shine down on my mother ...
(If I Die Young)
Double Rainbow right after Aunt C attended Mass???
So awesome!
That Friday morning, our children in school were drawing
"my family members" ... and Mom asked them to add a rainbow
over them, because it shows happiness.
LOL.
Gotta go. Taking Grandma out for mani and pedi.
Happy Easter, Son.
Continue your ZAPS and watch over us, k?
Hugs,
Mom
